Exceptional Water Filter
I feel extremely excited writing this review.I ordered this water filter system after spending many hours browsing for a water filter that was reasonably priced and offered the best filtration system for a clean supply of water. This filter was the only one in our search that offered exceptional value for our money. Not only did it not have any requirement for periodic change of filters which most other systems require, but it also had the most thorough filtration process making the water extremely clean and pure. And another amazing feature of this darling was that it was so easy to install and the system was not a bulky item. This beautiful system also offered a life of 5 years. No other filtration system we saw offered this for such an amazing price. We have been using this filter for over a month now, and we are the happiest people. We have tested the water using testing strips and the results are always positive for pureness. We use the water for all kitchen purposes with peace of mind and the water tastes crisp. This system is saving us 50 dollars a week which we used to spend buying water cans from the store. Not to forget to mention the amount of nano plastics we were injestic from these plastics cans which this system has now put an end to.This review will not be complete without mentioning the extraordinary customer service that the owners of this system provide. The team is exceptional and they are with us till the installation is complete and running smoothly. Every step of the installation process they offered guidance and shipped the required installation accessories free of charge, including a small filter system to remove TDS. They were readily available for troubleshooting and followup. And they promise replacement if we encounter any problems during the 5 year period. No company offers such a sweet deal and keeps cutomer first. Thank you Cuzn Family. We are very happy that we became part of the Cuzn family.Extremely happy customer for life.

My search is over.
I don't have a single bad thing to say about this filter. It's super well made, super easy to install and the water tastes as good as my old triple stage reverse osmosis unit. After a pretty exhaustive search, I don't think you can do better in this price range.Construction- Really well built. Heavy and sturdy. They did a great job. It looks like the person or people that made this really cared about the kind of water you are going to drink as opposed to how to cost effectively deliver a decent water filter. Still, at $119.00 this is great and in person, it looks/feels a lot more well built than it does online.Installation- First off I love how this can just stand in the corner and not get in the way of anything. I've tried a few other filters and they took more work to get them out of the way. The hose it came with didn't look cheap and matched the hose I already have that attaches to the faucet. Also where you mount the existing hose to the sink is built into the filter. So many other under the sink filters have another hose that connects with a male to male adapter. This reduces clutter and makes it really easy to install.Size- It's pretty big and it's a lot more filter than you would think when looking at the pics. Make sure you know how much room you have under your sink. Still, I had a lot of room left before it would hit the top. There is a lot of filtration going on.Water Flow- It's almost unnoticeable after it's installed. My wife or nanny didn't even notice the difference. I was really worried about an under the sink filter because I knew any good filter would probably not filter water as well if it had high flow. I tried some, like the Woder 10K and the Hansing 13k. They weren't bad but neither flowed like this. My main concern with the faucet was too much reduced cold water flow would cause the hot water to be too hot but this is really close.Water Taste- Not only does this flow well the water tastes really good. The place we moved to couldn't house our Reverse Osmosis unit so I had a lot of trouble finding something comparable. Luckily we now have much better water so I didn't need as much filtration to get the same taste. It blew away the Hansing 13K and is noticeably better than the Woder 10k. It also blew doors on some sink top filters I tried as well like the CleanWater4Less and Apex Countertop Waterfilter. The water is clean and crisp. Before this the water from the other filters didn't taste that great and sometimes made my stomach a little off. Nothing bad but just wasn't settled like it use to be. Now the Woder 10k wasn't bad and I could have probably lived with it but the CuZn was so much better. After being unsatisfied with all these highly rated countertop and under sink filters I finally found the right one. It tastes like bottled water and I'm so happy I took the time to write up this review. I feel like I owe it to this company for standing so far out above the competition. Hopefully, it will help others in a similar situation as myself. I'm buying their refrigerator line filter next and my incredibly frustrating search for a good water filter is finally over. Thanks CuZn and you make a really great product. I don't think there is a better under the sink filter in this price range or even a good bit higher that can do what the CuZn does.

Best for renters / Path to 0 TDS and 0 Chlorine
I initially ordered a reverse osmosis countertop system (Simpure - don’t recommend them) but it arrived with the broken filter and had the fish smell. At around $400 I was extremely disappointed and sent it back. Then I came across this solution that does not require an electric outlet and is very simple to install for someone who’s not a plumber. As a renter I selected the two year unit for $100 just in case we extend our lease. The installation took 10 minutes and was extremely simple, as described. This was actually the part I was the most worried about, but turned out to be a no brainer. It’s logical and easy to follow.I am including a video that shows you how this unit helped me get from 160 or 180 TDS to 0 TDS and 0 Chlorine. As you can see in the video, I’ve tested the water from different cups I filled about every 30 seconds after installation. I skipped the very first batch because it was black due to the particles released from the filter, as it is mentioned in the manual - no worries there.Anyway, as you can see the initial TDS was in the high 300s as the filter was clearing & it eventually got down to around 114 or 120 area after running the water for 3 minutes full on. That is great and let’s not forget, this already filters the lead and chlorine etc.For the record. our default tap water before the installed showed 160 to 180 - so definitely an improvement, but again, still unfiltered. At this stage, I also tested the chlorine levels with the included tester and it did achieve zero! The water smelled pure after the installation, no odor. The Chlorine strip showed the very first - lowest indicator for no chlorine. So, end result is 120 TDS, 0 chlorine. Btw. it is mentioned in the manual that TDS and PPM meter reads are not valid with this unit, but since I had one, I tested it and it showed an improvement. The Chlorine strip (included in the box and again showed 0) which as per manual, SHOULD be used to test with this unit. Now, as in how to get from the 120 TDS to zero TDS, I simply used our 52 cup Zero Water filtration system with the proprietary two filters that cost about $27 for a pair and last about three months or more. (The 52 cup dispenser comes with 2 filters anlready and is about $50. Every few months it’s around $27 for 2 filters from then on). This ladies and gentlemen is a noob friendly and no-electricity requiring $150 system all-in, with the filter that lasts for two years under the sink and a system that last for two-three months with zero chlorine and zero TDS for about $27 at 3 months, or $12 a month. If you were to buy the one year unit at $70 this comes out even cheaper. You can’t beat this cost to performance ratio for this simple set up.Ideally, you could still add a UV filter (which can be purchased on Amazon for under $100 also) and put it in between this unit and the outlet hose, but since we don’t have an outlet under the sink, I couldn’t. New technologies have LED UV that never need a replacement bulb still at that price point.I am very happy with the investment and its ability to remove chlorine and other contaminants to 0 as proven by the tests. The countertop system took care of the rest for very cheap.I recommend this combination for zero TDS and zero chlorine, but don’t forget neither of the systems eliminate water that might have parasites and other contaminants. In other words, you need drinkable water IN to get drinkable high quality water OUT.If I would own my own house, this would be my in-between peace, not my main piece and I would still use a proper (UV) ultraviolet (Reverse Osmosis) RO system - but this one fits the bill for everything else.If you were to buy everything brand new, you would literally go from bad water to pure healthy water in 20-25 minutes including the flushing of the Zero Water filters. Super convenient for something you can literally use for years at a time.I hope this helped.

Great filter and easy to install
UPDATE (6/10/2025): Just installed my second CuZn 200 water filter after using the old one for 5+ years without a single problem. The old one was still sending out water without slowing down (and almost as fast as the unfiltered faucet), so I knew it was still filtering the water well, and the water tasted just as good as when we installed it back then. The new CuZn 200 filter is a bit more compact and at least an inch shorter than the old one, so I had to put some packing under it in order for my supply line to my dedicated drinking water faucet to reach comfortably. Other than that, installation was a snap. I flushed the new filter for around 8 minutes, and the water was clear and spring-fresh-tasting!I registered the filter with CuZn.com and got an extended 5-year warranty. If you can find a better filter out there, I’d be very surprised. This filter is worth every penny, and I’m confident I will have healthy, good-tasting drinking water for the next 5+ years.Oh yeah, remember to write the serial number of the filter on the instruction sheet before you install the filter. You will need it when you register your filter. The serial number is on a little sticker on the base of the filter. It would be hard to get at once the filter is installed!***Bought this back in October, but waited for my previous filter to expire before installing this one. It was very easy, with good instructions and simple set up. Water flow is really good and the taste is great. This is a very substantial filter and very well-made. Worth every penny. I think it’s the best thing out there! I installed mine on a dedicated drinking water faucet next to my kitchen faucet. We use it only to drink and cook with. I wil definitely stick with this filter as long as CuZn continues to make them.

Best Solution by a Company That Stands Behind its Product
After much internet searching, it is our opinion that CuZn was and is the best solution for those seeking an under sink water filtration system. It is evident by it’s Amazon rating of 97% for 4 and 5 stars. Customer service is top notch (tip of hat to Chris and the rest of company’s staff). You should definitely notice an improvement in water taste. Our current UC-200 was easy to install, requiring a small wrench. All the reviews and videos are quite good. Maybe a drill and screwdriver too if installing a pre-filter.We are in NYC. CuZn literature states that our area has a ‘notable High Sediment municipal system’. Wow! Did not know that. Second statement: ‘High levels of Sediment are also found in homes that are plumbed with Galvanized Steel or have very old corroding pipes.’ Two strikes against us.So Chris offered a complimentary high sediment pre-filter to front end the UC-200. Smart move, just needs a bit more room and another stainless hose. The 20 micron 2.5 inch by 10 inch filter element was also included so that’s what we’re sticking with when we reorder them from CuZn. The smaller the micron rating (CuZn sells many), the smaller size particulates will be captured. But the smaller the micron rating the more often you’ll need to replace the pre-filter element. 20 micron is a good compromise. Recently replaced pre-filter element for first time. Not nasty but pretty dirty. We wanted an under sink type, but not a triple gang type with 3 filters, each getting changed at different intervals. We wanted a separate spigot for filtered cold water on our counter and were willing to give up the soap pump dispenser that occupied a pre-drilled hole. We wanted unfiltered cold water coming out of the main faucet and filtered water out of spigot. And the long (15 footer) hose from the refrigerator (water and ice) would get filtered water as well even if it was double filtered when also using a refrigerator filter. So there are multiple hoses (water lines) and tees. The dishwasher connects to the hot water side valve (not filtered of course) but it also requires a tee to split supply at the valve, so we have lots of hoses in our cabinet. But they all are near the rear of the cabinet and very little cabinet space is lost.We are very pleased and will be CuZn customers for life. Sorry Amazon, we love the selections normally offered, but for ‘cold only’ countertop faucets we found a better Moen S5520 sip beverage faucet elsewhere that had a long enough stem that reached through our countertop (that was double layer reinforced where hole was) and was easy to install a hose from the UC-200.Design the system you want and figure out how many tee’s or couplings you may need. Most kitchen valves are 3/8 inch. Most newer faucets have stainless hoses that connect to valve. If yours is very old with copper tubing to valve, a plumber may be required. The LASCO 06-9111 tee proposed by Amazon is a good one. Stainless hoses supplied by CuZn are 3/8 by 3/8 but if you find out early on that your valve is ¼ inch or some size other than 3/8, stop, reconnect your faucet to valve, back to the way it was, and call CuZn to send you the size you need. If your faucet hose does not reach the top connection of UC-200, consider locating UC-200 closer or higher. Since cold water valve is on the right side under cabinet, your UC-200 will most likely be on right side of your cabinet base.

Quality, under sink carbon filter, Made in USA !
I purchased in Fall 2023, and replaced with same unit in 2026. Filter is well made with included braided connector, easy to install. After 2 1/2 years I decided to replace due to subtle chlorine taste, I tested the filter's efficiency with the included test kit and it was under the threshold concentration for warranty replacement of 0.25 ppm. I detected a slight taste that may have been from other contaminates than chlorine, and decided to replace the filter. New filter provides cleaner taste and suspect other contaminates may have been passing through filter. I figured I treated approximately 2,500 gallons, cold water used from kitchen sink.

Super convenient, Great tasting Water
We have had this filter for a bit over three weeks now, and I could not be more pleased. We live in a smaller town in North Carolina and the water is not only chlorinated, often it has a “mossy” taste. Prior to installing the CuZn we had been relying on the filtered water from the refrigerator, but what a pain that was! Now, thanks to our new CuZn filter, getting fresh clean water with NO taste or odor is as simple as turning on the tap!We did have to purchase a different line to connect from top of filter to faucet, but that is because of the way the faucet was installed, not a fault of the filter. After my trip to the hardware store and about $9 bucks for the new flex line it was literally a 5 minute job to have the filter up and running. This filter has truly made a difference in our lives, at least with regard to cooking and getting water – so much easier and such a $$ saver! Also, I think it’s great that I’m not just getting a glass of filtered water to drink, now I cook with filtered water and when I wash my veggies I’m not washing them with chlorinated mossy gunk! How awesome is that!We did look at other filtration systems but most had another spigot to install, they mounted to the side of your cabinets, and (most) required at least two filters which had to be changed at least once a year. Pretty typical for filtration systems you say, so what’s the problem? Well, it’s the cost of the filters! You are going to be paying at least $60.00 and up every time you replace your filters. So lets figure it out. For the sake of argument let’s say that, because you use a LOT of water, your CuZn only lasts 3 years. Your cost over that three year period is 119.00. Now let’s consider another filter – nothing specific, just tossing out “average” numbers. Let’s say you paid $60.00 to purchase and replaced your filters each year. For the same three year period your cost would be $240.00. I’ll let you do the rest of the math! Now, if you are a person who requires some additional filtration considerations because of pollutants, or because you have a well, the CuZn may not be for you. In that chase I would go to their web site and see what else they have (because they have a TON of filtration options – these guys n gals have been around for a while!)Bottom line? I’m sold on CuZn products! In fact, I will be contacting them soon to talk about getting an in-line filter to install just after the point where my water comes into the house so that the entire house is filtered. No more showering in chlorine and mosey smelling water! Thanks for a great product CuZn!

Excellent produit, aucun regret ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wife loves it!
Personally, I can't taste the difference between ditch water and rainwater, but my wife is Canadian and has always lamented the poor taste/quality of tap water here in Perth. This unit gets her tick of approval for water quality, and it gets my tick of approval for value for money, ease of install (did it myself with the excellent instructions provided), and customer service from the company. These guys really care about providing you with a quality water filtration system and a hassle-free experience. Gotta love that.

Excellent customer service
Based in Singapore, I was not sure if I would be able to successfully use this given the differences in plumbing standards between the United States and Singapore. Nevertheless, I took a leap of faith, and decided to give it a go. After trying to find the fittings unsuccessfully, I reached out to the CUZN customer service and it was a lifesaver. CUZN sent over the required fittings to me and provided the plumbing schematics, and with some additional hardware bought from the local store, I was able to get it working. Thanks!

Why did I wait so long?
I'd been using jug filtration systems for many years and after using the CuZn system now for a couple of weeks I am wondering why. After you factor in a jug, replacement filters over 5 years based on a 3 month replacement cycle, taxes etc. you are around $150 TCO. With this system you are around $180 TCO but no need to refill jugs and wait for it to filter, it's right out of the tap, for $30 difference that not a lot pay for the convenience since this lasts for 5 years. The install is so easy and comes with everything you need. You do need your own wrench though. Suggestion to the manufacturer to include a mini wrench like IKEA does?Anyhow, on to the most important thing, how does the water taste since that is where you really find the value in this system. For my family, we love it. We compared it to the jug filtered water and could really notice the things left behind in the jug filtered as opposed to the CuZn system, no after taste at all, super clean and crisp. Initially you will see cloudiness in the water as the filter primes but that passes very quickly and you get a great tasting glass of cool H20. I highly recommend this product to anyone interested in a water filtrations system.
