How can I tell this is not fake ?

Hello , usually the calendar on the fake Diesel it is juts painted and not functional and the sub-dials are not functional as well . Thank you

The kind the band have ?

They call it "Textile over silicone rubber" its feels like some type of nylon. It frays easily depending on usage. Definitely not Diesels better quality bands, however it is stylish. However, no one can see the material loosen. I only notice it because I put it on my wrist.

Much more scratch/chip resistant

Nicer quality than the white one, has a rubber edge around the outside of the face that keeps it from getting damaged or chipped. I replaced my white one with a new one as it was pretty beat up. Got a new white one, and it was chipped again within two days.
