Finally, a place for my elbows
I have been working from a home office for 10 years, and finally after developing a lot of back and hip pain, I switched to a saddle chair instead of the "comfortable" office chairs that I had been using. I also bought an electric standing desk--I wish that I had made these changes years ago, because I feel so much better at the end of the day. However, when you start using a saddle chair and/or a standing desk, you quickly realize that there is no place for your elbows. These little contraptions solve that problem. They can withstand a good amount of downward pressure (note that the desk is more likely to break than these arm rests- I think if they were used on a flimsy chipboard desk, they might break the desktop). I use them when sitting and using the keyboard and mouse- they glide around so I can swing my elbows as needed while still resting them. When used in standing desk mode, they also give good support to my elbows while allowing me to fidget around. I have tried a lot of contraptions for ergonomic office support over the years, and these are high on the list of 'keepers' -I don't expect to work without these going forward.

SHOULD HAVE DONE IT SOONER!!
THIS WAS A GREAT FIND. BE SURE TO GET THE 2 PACK, YOU MAY WANT TO SUPPORT EACH ARM. THE PRODUCT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL. THE SUPPORTS APPEAR TO BE STURDY. I HAVE ONLY HAD THEM A COUPLE OF WEEKS. SO FAR SO GOOD.

The Arm Support I've Been Looking For!
I've got an L-Shaped desk. My chair's arm rest wouldn't go up quite high enough to support my mouse arm. Annoying. I tried pads on my arm rest, raising my chair, and several other things that didn't work.I saw these and thought "why not?" so I ordered them. I only need one considering the shape of my desk but dang, it's nice. I got it set to the height that's comfortable and it provides excellent support and mobility for my arm.My only wish is that once I set the height, I could lock it in somehow. If I bump it, I have to reset it. Resetting isn't a huge drawback, but it's a minor annoyance. Still worth it for the comfort and ease-of-use though. My arm can ride in it whether mousing or using the keyboard. I'm sure glad I took a chance on it.

Helped with Posture and shoulder support
This isn't a medical claim, just a reality, that using these improved my posture and reduced the negative consequences of bad posture. Thanks Ai for making this hard to write an honest review!

Knees will hit under desk
I like how the rests swivel with your arms while moving from mouse to keyboard.Did not like how my knees kept hitting the clamps under the desk. Arm rests also become uncomfortable with the neoprene and lack of cushioning.

Work Hard, Write hard, Play...softly
I've had this a week. One bar went on my office desk and the other is on my chilling desk. My arm/wrist has not hurt ONCE since adding them. The clamps are sturdy, it's simple to set up though you may want a little WD-40 for the joints. They're great if you write/code/ video edit etc. However for if you're FPS gaming you may want to get a stationary rest. The slight resistance will affect flicks, there's no getting around that. It's just physics. I don't play FPS so it's no issue to me. Really helps when grinding levels on the weekend.

Cheap, flimsy junk. Do NOT buy.
Cheap junk. Do not buy. So much slop and play in the joints. They do not operate smooth and aren't worth 1/10 their cost. Avoid!

Game Changer
Standing desk - Have to get used to them and learn to maneuver, kinda like learning how to use a robot’s arm. Once you get used to it, it’s a game changer, stick with it for a month or so, it gets easier as you go and then you wonder how you did it without them. I have a shoulder injury and these are a must if I wanna use a standing desk and I do.
