De Witt Company Dew Right Tree Water Bag, 15-Gallon-(TWBAG-12)

While they look and supposedly function like the more expensive Gator Bags, they aren't as good. These mostly get the job done. However, they all seem to drain at different rates and at least one of the 7 bags I own does not drain, at all. This isn't good. I them tried poking a couple of pin holes in the bottom and it is still full...not sure what the problem is, and not going to waste time finding out. If you get these, buy at least one extra one just in case.

I bought this watering bag because my landscaper had provided the same exact one for a tree they planted. Our new street tree has been frying in this dry summer and although I've been watering it regularly, I wanted to add a watering bag to help the ground from drying out so quickly. I noticed that this bag drained almost immediately (within 2 hours) and the one my landscaper provided takes 2-3 days to empty completely. I took them both off and discovered the one ordered from Amazon has a hole punch sized hole in the bottom (does not look intentional though). Not very happy as I will have to try and patch it up or buy a new one.

Good tree bag. My last set lasted 2 full seasons.

The bags are sturdy and hold enough water to supply a steady drip for a couple of days; perfect for new plantings or young trees that need a little TLC to get through hot, dry months. I wish they came in white to reflect heat but they definitely work well.

Works well but just not for super younhappy trees.

Bags worked great for 3 months. 2 have now burst open when filled with water and 3 will no longer water the trees as the weep holes have closed.

Works as a water bag should. Controlled release, easy to fill. Easy-grip handles on the side to aid with the filling process.Significantly cheaper than what my local garden store was selling similar bags for.
