Surprisingly, the thermal tape isn't bad either. I used these on my GPU and got an instant 4 degree temp drop. I'm planning to swap out the thermal tape for Arctic adhesive thermal pads, which should drop temps another 4 degrees.

I bought this two pack for my HDMI splitter so I can mirror my PC to my living room and my kitchen tv. The issue is that lil' guy LOVES to overheat, annoyingly so. This was part of a whole mod and hack, these go on the top and bottom, and then I bought 60mm x 10mm USB powered fans to draw heat out, still not quite enough but it recovers from overheating a lot faster. This does its job, have to rethink the design to make that work more efficiently, but this is 100% as advertised and works for my need. If I were more particular, probably would have brought my own thermal paste to the part, but didn't think this silly HDMI splitter needed that. Conclusion: Works great for weirder projects like this, but if you're using this on an actual chip INSIDE of something, probably re paste it with your favorite thermal gunk.
