First, nobody paid me or offered a gift card or anything in return for my review. I'm just pretty impressed with this little baby currently selling for 16 bucks a pair. I've only used it a few times so far and cannot comment about durability but my reviews are often updated when a product either fails prematurely or lives beyond reasonable expectations. My lighters live outdoors in Southern California and are kept out of rain (almost always) and don't face freezing temperatures.I use my lighters daily so function is very important to me. This is a long review because who else except someone about to buy a lighter wants to hear me go on about the details? (Okay, one or two cigar cronies, but that's about it.) This pair is replacing a pair of Topkay brand lighters that lasted a little over a year. (One of them still works but now this RONXS is easily my new favorite.This lighter is actually useful as a cigar holder. It's long and wide enough to be stable on a steel mesh patio where most of my cigar smoking is done. Most small tubular-shaped lighters tip over on this table unless you place it like a tight fitting Jenga block. That's a Toro size cigar it's holding in the photo, 6 x 54.The bullet punch cutter is also useful. It's spring loaded, extends long enough to function well and has a notch to hold it open (which I didn't initially notice but was happy to find). I have rarely used a punch cutter in the past but this one is so convenient and effective it will likely see more frequent use. It also retracts fully and the operating tab does not interfere with the comfort of holding the lighter.The flame is strong and hasn't yet required a second click once at the proper setting. That large setting wheel (no tools) is among my absolute requirements for any lighter purchase.The top flips open when pushing the button so it's one movement to light.The translucent body makes it obvious how much fuel is left and filling is simple. I use Xikar brand butane because it can be reasonably priced if you shop carefully and is of good quality.

I got two orders of these little triple jet torch lighters (4 lighters total) 16 days ago. When they arrived, I didn’t have any good butane so i filled one with Ronson butane while waiting for an order of Lotus butane to arrive, and after receiving that, I have only filled them with Lotus premium butane. All four of them have been very reliable, they have not failed to light a single time - even the one that i initially filled with Ronson butane. All four are pretty heavily used by multiple people almost daily.They are very hot, and the flame can get pretty tall despite turning down the fuel regulator on the bottom - so if you are using these to heat a glass oil burner, make sure you hold it well below your glass or you will end up scorching your oil and possibly ruining your burner too.I don’t know why other reviewers seem to have had issues filling these, because all four of mine are very easy to fill with very little waste - and that only occurred because there was some space in the fuel tank and I thought it would take more, but now I know that there’s going to be some empty space at the top of the fuel tanks - which are fully visible, so you won’t ever be taken by surprise with an empty tank. When I did try to overfill, some butane got on my hand, but once I released it from the fuel nozzle, it stopped, unlike a lot of cheap little torches i’ve gotten from neighborhood smoke shops and gas stations that have sprayed gas all over the place until it either released enough pressure or I was able to unstick the valve.So February of 2024, I paid $11.99 for each order of two, which is about what I pay for one of the second cheapest torches at the neighborhood gas station - and those are not nearly as reliable as these RONXS torches. I will almost certainly buy more of these and i’ll probably check out some other lighters offered this brand as well. Given the sheer number of absolute junk torch lighters I’ve dealt with over the years, I feel like I’ve found the holy grail lol. Seriously though, for the price, I am very impressed, gotta say.

I was finally fed up with cheap butane lighters I had that kept breaking or not lighting very well so I found these and they do not disappoint. So far they've worked well over the past 6 months and I've lit many a cigar with them. Turned all the way up the flames are super high so that would be good for a lighting a fire in wind, etc. I've filled them up with Xicar butane so far and they just light up, no fuss. I don't usually use a cigar punch, but the few times I've used it, it's fairly sharp and gets the job done. If and when these break or fail, I'm getting more!

Likes: good fuel capacity. Great adjustment of flame size. Has a punch included. Great price. Lights first try. Feels sturdy enough even though . . .Dislikes: one of the lighters had the flame cover pin fall out when I opened the box. I was able to put it back together and glue it in place. It's fixed now instead of exchanging or returning. The other lighter was good, no issues. I am ok fixing myself at the price paid. No other issues with them.
