How long are the actual bristles?

Is this what other manufacturers call a "rigger" brush?

A rigger and script liner are the same thing. It is one of my favorite brushes. I use it for painting the fine tree limbs, tall grasses, lining roof shingles and siding on houses. Of course, I do use it for signing my art works.

For acrylic painters, is this a good liner brush----to paint small branches and fine grasses?

Absolutely. To get the best looking tree/branches the paint needs to be thinned. It works for trees, sea oats, flower stems, weeds, etc.

How fine is the tip? It doesn't seem very fine?

This has been my favorite fine brush. I thin ethe oil paint and twirl the brush with just the tip of the brush im tbe paint. wonderful for fine lines and tree branches. great to sign art.

Bob Ross Script Liner

I was painting and using the smallest brush i had to sign my paintings but i found myself with my name signed to large and gave too much importance to my name ...i bought Bob Ross Script liner to sign my name and for small details ...it is great ..it hold together at a very fine point and i'm painting with acrylic paints ...I recommend this brush to anyone that wishes to paint and want great results , Bob Ross has left us a great product to work with and he always stood behind his brushes ...identifying them ...try them and be hooked
