Works great, easily to apply. But contains Cyanuric Acid (CYA) which raised my Stablizer levels to 300+. Had to dump and refill 2000 gal spa to cure the problem. Switching to another product without the acid and I can add my own stabilizer as needed.

This is the brand that my local hot tub store carries. I figured it was because of a commission that they carry it and tell their customers not to try other brands. I decided to go off and find other brands to try in some of the other hot tub products and just as I was warned, I found out that hot tub products from other companies do not perform as well as this brand. They might be cheaper, but it will require a lot more product to get the same results as the SpaGuard products, or worse, you might end up having water issues. Not worth it!! Almost a year after owning the hot tub I found myself in a ph lock so I spoke to a guy that works on hot tubs. He told me that he’s been doing this for over 20 years and of all the brands that he has researched, tested, and chemically tested, he always circles back to this one. I have found that the prices on Amazon are pretty close to my hot tub store, for the small containers. However, they do not sell the 5 pound products, and buying in bulk is obviously cheaper. Using SpaGuard products has always given me great results and crystal clear water. I love that all of their products can be measured using their caps. I’ve made a cheat sheet for all of the products. So all I have to do is test my water, see how many ounces whichever product or problem calls for and then I already have all of my ounces converted into that specific product bottle’s cap size. Quick and easy.
