Started taking the Black Currant Oil (1/day) for 2 wks now and also using First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream for my horrible eczema which affected all my fingers on my left hand except my thumb. I had red inflamed fingers, lots of cuts and skin peeling and bed time itching. It was so bad I had to wear a cotton glove night & day to keep it moisturized but let me tell you, after 2 wks of taking the oil and using this cream, it has been healing so nicely and now the gloves can come off ;D. I am continuing this supplement forever now as I know healing from the inside out really makes a difference as well as the kind of cream you use. All the steroid creams, and other creams I've tried didn't help until I tried the Ultra Repair Cream so keep that one in mind too, if you have severe eczema as I do.

I'm a "casual" supplement taker. Part of me doesn't really expect things to work and if I don't visibly see results, I typically fall off the wagon. I'm ordering my 3rd bottle of this black current oil today. I can say I've done an "A/B test" (A.K.A: forgetting to take the supplement for like a month and then remembering), and I can see the difference. It's most notable in my nails. If I stop taking the black currant oil, I can actually see a visibly line in my nails where they suddenly thin out. So, I do think this product really works, at least for people like me with super thin nails.

I love this oil supplement! No more hair in the drain and nails are looking good! These are just extra bonuses. I started using black currant seed oil to help with my joints and inflammation and it really works. I tried one that used hexane and wondered why I got heartburn after each dose. When I learned about Athelas hexane free I gave it a shot. No more heartburn and works great. I just don't know what I'd do without it! Thanks Athelas! Great product!!!

This is the forth bottle of Black Current Seed Oil that I'm taking. I'm only taking one capsule a day because I'm also taking it in conjunction with a fair amount of Biotin and supplements for other reasons. I started adding it to see if it will help stop my hair thinning, and while I've noticed a decrease in hair shedding, I've also noticed a small amount of new hair growth. I really can't say if it's the Black Current Oil or the Biotin, but whichever it is, I'm willing to give it a few more months.

When I received the first bottle I misread the amount to take so I was only taking 1 pill a day. So now I am on my second bottle and taking the 2 pills a day. This is the 4th day so it is too soon to say how it's working. I am hoping to see stronger nails, better looking skin and hair. If the results are great I will change my star quanity!!! Well so far I've taken the pills for 2 months now and I don't really see any results. I just received another month's worth and after this bottle if there aren't any changes worth noting, it'll be my last bottle.

I can tell the difference in my hair and stiffness in my joints. My hair is thicker and when getting up from sitting, my legs are less painful and stiff.

I've been using this for a month now for hair loss problem. I attacked the problem with multiple products from Amazon but I still have thinning hair. Probably from medication use. However, never in my life have I had healthy nails and now mine are long and lovely! I don't know which product I can credit for that but am crediting Black currant oil. I also snip the end and put on my dog's hot spots, allergies. She will eventually lick it off and that's a good thing. It works for her too.

I am unsure whether it was this and/or biotin that was extremely effective at thickening my thinning hair (due to thyroid complications). Whichever, or both, it worked marvelously within two months of taking.
