How many calories are there in each Eccles cake?

The description says the package of four is 150 g. The label on the package says 401 calories/100 grams, so that would work out to 601.5 for all four or just a bit over 150 calories per cake; rather a lot for something so small.

Although I have not tried freezing them, I would imagine they can be frozen quite nicely. I would remove them from their cellophane wrap and then use a vacuum sealer with its own bag for added security against freezer burn. This will provide long time freshness. Don't see why they shouldn't be all right . Enjoy.

Do you get 4x4 packs-a total of 16 cakes?

Excellent question (or at least I thought so as I asked myself the same thing). Frequently Amazon vendors descriptions leave such poor information. YES, there are 16 cakes. Packed four cakes to a "sleeve and there are four sleeves. Each cake is the same size as in the smaller volume offers for four cakes (total). Want to go nuts? Five seconds in the microwave followed by a cream cheese slather. You may decide you "need to be alone". With or without the addition: Bon appetit.

can you freeze these?

Yes you can. I buy them for my mom and she freezes them. She loves them but can’t eat that many at once.
