I donโt think the flint spring is universal but the kit is good.
Flint spring didnโt fit my lighter but the rest of the kit was good ๐

Fantastic!
I would rate 5 if not for the wick. I have an old โ20โs ronson lighter that I used this kit for. The wick sucked putting on. Get a wick that has a wire end so that its easier to rewick. I had to tie copper wire around it and pull it through but it took quite some time. My lighter also uses a flint wheel clutch, so be sure to check and see if yours needs one too. Outside of that, the quality of the flint, wick, and cotton seems good. love that it comes with plenty of extra flint. EDIT: Nevermind, the wick is great. no issues 5 stars lol, the wick is my error and I found an easy way to do it.

Gasket seals are a waist of time
The 5 piece gasket seal are horrible, my lighter dries up faster with them than it does without anything. Everything else is great but dont waist your time on the gasket seals

Wonderful zippo repair kit
This kit is a wonderful gift for the zippo aficionado in your life it allows you to maintain your zippo. Also wonderful for anyone looking to restore a classic zippo. Highly recommend will definitely buy again at some point.

I bought this kit to rebuild my 20 & 30 year old Zippo lighters. I found that the flints worked and lasted exactly the same as the Zippo brands. The wicks and cotton stuffing were perfect and a large quantity is supplied. I have not changed the supplied flint striker wheel yet as the original are still in good shape. When replacing the flint and wick it is a good idea to give the lighter a good cleaning with a small brush and compressed air as over the years quite a bit of carbon builds up around the sticker wheel where the sparks travel to the wick. This kit is an excellent value with a lifetime supply of wicks alone.
