Been going strong for 5 years
I bought this thing in like 2021 for my corsair icue commander or pump or something. Anyway, it works fine, doesnt give me problems and that's the point.

It works
Had to use as a work around due to having no unused usb connectors on the motherboard and no easy way to free up one. It worked as easiest way to connect new wifi / bluetooth card (TP-Link WiFi 6E Intel AX210 AXE5400 PCIe WiFi Card) to an outside usb port for bluetooth to work.

Worked to wire a wifi/bluetooth card in a Dell XPS 8930
I don't get these OEM's who insist on straying from standards and don't include the usual headers on the motherboard, but whatever... it is what it is. Case in point, the Dell XPS 8930 I use for a HTPC. I added a wifi/bluetooth PCI card and although wifi goes over the PCI bus, the bluetooth needs USB and expects to use a header on the motherboard. Well drat, Dell doesn't add those in usually. This thing came to the rescue... it's goofy to have to route the USB cable out of the case and into one of the rear ports, but it works, and now I have WAY more reliable bluetooth than the flaky one included on the computer (it has a habit of "disappearing" for no reason until you remove power for a few minutes...known issue on this Dell model). So, if you need an internal USB header but don't have one, this will do the trick.

Probably should check the pinout yourself
The standard USB header contains two channels (so two D+/D- pairs). The product page when I purchased this said only one of those pairs was connected, but when I tested the product I received with a multimeter, *both* pairs were connected. This might increase compatibility for single-channel devices, but if whatever you are connecting to actually uses both USB channels, this cable will short them out, yielding bizarre results at best, system reboots/other serious problems at worst. Still 4 stars because the cable is built well, with heatshrink and glue securing the wire bundle, etc. Just don't trust the product listing when it comes to the pinout description!

Seems good
I ended up not using it but I did test it and it works as expected. Cable quality seems good but I can't attest to durability or long term use.

Great upgrade
Quality product. Allows one to plug in SD Card readers or other accessories into a standard USB 2 or 3 port if there are not enough USB headers on your motherboard.

Superb product for PCIe Wifi 6E Bluetooth 5, it does the job as expected.
I am using this cable for my PCIe Wifi 6E card which needs an external power for the bluetooth to work. I got first an internal usb cable (similar to this one, but the usb pins can be plugged into the motherboard's internal usb 2.0 socket "of course if you have one on your main board"), but that cable didn't work for me. So, I found this cable which you need to plug it into normal usb (externally) and it works as expected; it is in use for about 3 months now without any issue.
