the top coat is trash, leaves a strange oily layer when dried and once its wiped off the shine is gone and the nail looks dull, not sure if it was stored improperly during shipping and had gone bad or its the actual formula.

Fantastic! The bottle lasts so long, especially if you have started doing nails yourself at your own home to save money. Such a fantastic economical purchase, and the qualities is fantastic and last so long!

This is my first time using a builder gel of any kind. I used it for the little butterfly decals. I got the clear base one. (Excuse my nails, I use a lot of alcohol base cleansers and soaps so it gives my nails a yellow tone) it took quite a few coats to be able to encapsulate the decals. If you're using this to build an actual extension, I would think it is going to take a lot of coats. For these decals, which are not very thick but does have pointy corners, it took about 4 coats. I did use a high gloss top coat, so the shine is from that, not the builder gel. (It's orly top coat from Sally Beauty Supply in case anyone wants to know) overall I think it's ok. If all builder gel polish is going to be like this, I might just consider using the actual builder gel in a pot. Having to do so many coats was more time consuming than what I would have preferred. Butterflies are from Hobby Lobby, next to their jewelry section. Holographic nail decals are from Etsy, shops name is CocoStop "Holographic transfer nail foils decoration" it's in a pack she sells with a plastic container. Best wishes!
