Amazing book, no issues with amazon seller But Large issue with manufacturer
had zero issues with the seller on amazon. however my main concern is with the manufacturer, the quality inspections must be terrible because when it arrived sealed and brand new to me, there were Multiple pages still joint together because the Cutting machine failed to do its job, thus i had to flatten all the creases in the pages and individually and carefully scissor the problem out myself which was stressful now for the book, i personally believe this is the best spider-man book to get into or Comic book in general. it is fantastically written and it really makes you appreciate Brian Michael Bendis for saving Spider-man and modernising him. the art is beautiful and all the characters are imagined in their most spectacular form

The one that got me back in to it
Now, I have had a lot of omnibuses. There’s not many that have captured my attention like this one. I am normally a DC/Batman guy but I thought I would try something that’s not so dark and I’m so glad I did. Ive tried to dabble in Marvel before now with Punisher or Deadpool but they just couldn’t scratch the itch and I lost interest. This book as proven the exception, it’s a great blend of humour, action and incredible storytelling. I highly recommend. Bring on the next volume

Recommending the Digital Omnibus
Format - E-book I read the trades of this series as they came out, some twenty odd years ago, but haven't re-read it since, and my physical collection has diminished with time and available space, so discovering these digital Omni's was a blessing. Couple that with the advantage of reading this on my Fire HD8 in bed at night, meaning I can read this in comfort, without straining with a hefty hardback. Ultimate Spider-Man, I remembered as one of my favorite Spidey runs, and having now re-read this Omni, I'd say that statement holds true. However things I enjoyed first time around, aren't as satisfying this time, yet some things I didn't care for, I actually enjoyed. This could be a result in a change of expectations, or it could be that, well, age and a change of perspective, but who knows. Originally I didn't care for the new Green Goblin look, or Norman Osborn's depiction. Enjoying Spider-Man's silver age stories, I preferred the idea of Norman, being a victim of his own experiments and ego, a ruthless and aggressive business man, but not a criminal, until the Goblin persona takes over. But this "New" (at the time) look as well as his embracing the insanity, because of the power it brings, works well to add depth and show the terrifying distance he will go to achieve what he wants. On the other hand, I thought the Symbiote storyline was great, the first time around, but now I feel it is too condensed, and feels rushed, Eddie Brock isn't well written, it's hard to believe he's "bad", even though the writers try to push this idea, by having every other character state it (Gwen, Eddies room mate, etc.) which feels like lazy writing. Even if I do still love the Ultimate Venom look, the overall arc feels flat. All that being said, I highly recommend this to those looking for a decent entry point to the Spider-Man comics. I assume most people looking at this title are familiar with the character, especially with the films from over the last 25 years, but if you've never picked up a comic, then give this a go.

Bendis' All-time classic.
This 21st century reimagining of our favorite wall crawler's early heroics by Brian Michael Bendis is phenomenal. It's one big coherent coming of age story for Spidey. Perfect book to pick if you are new to the world of comic books. Special thanks to the seller - Trans Infopreneur Inc, They are the best place to buy comic books on Amazon.

Superior to all other formats.
First off, I would like to say that the Marvel Omnibus format has to be my favorite, compared to all other trades Marvel releases. Now the review can begin. This book is a HEAVY faux-leather book that is fantastically bound and well made. The cover is a crimson red with a distinctive silver "Ultimate Spider-man" insignia on the front, this cover is subtle yet dignified. The Spine of the book has the "Marvel Omnibus" logo on the top with the title and creative team on the side, this is all in the same silver tone as the insignia on the cover. This book is physically superior to most other formats, and graciously outshines the paperback trades. The dust jacket features a gallery of all the covers in this volume, which is a nice touch. As for the content of the book itself, the content is a perfect partner to the aesthetic appeal of this volume. Ultimate Spider-man has the fantastic creative team of Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley. Bendis is at his best in this series and is able to wonderfully capture the spirit of Spidey, from his guilt to his quips directed at his foes. As for Bagley, the art is great at capturing the swell of these epic conflicts between our young hero and his foes. Not only that but Bagley is also able to capture the individual spectrum of emotions for each character, from Kraven to MJ. This volume collects some of young Peter's most interesting conflicts. The first arc establishes fan-favorite Norman Osborn as possibly Spider-man's most dangerous foe. As difficult as it would seem to usurp this as the supreme arc in the story, the series continues to improve as you read. The rouges gallery given and improved upon include: Electro, Doc Ock, Kingpin, Kraven the Hunter and more. The final arc in this volume is a fitting climax for the series. Venom, who has been one of the most popular villains in Spider-man history, gets his ultimate universe origin at the end of this volume and gives us a wonderful insight into the emotions of our hero, and those he loves. At the end of the book there is a section dedicated to sketches and creator interview and even deleted scenes, to my knowledge this volume is the only way to get these awesome extras. Overall I would say that this volume is a must buy for someone who is a fan of the series or someone who just wants to find somewhere to start reading. The price listed by Amazon is extremely reasonable and makes this definitely worth purchasing.
