The Live and Neutral are insulated in blue/brown coloured PVC insulation and the earth is coloured in green and yellow. The overall bundle of wires is insulated in a White PVC outer casing and this Cable is insulated in a third tuff Black Fire Retardant PVC Coating. Good quality and no issues after 12 months buried.
Got this to power some garden lights and plug outlets. No issues since it was buried in the ground almost a year ago.

Tough, quality and nice to work with.
This 4 core 2.5mm cable is very tough with a thick outer layer. The inner cables are easy to strip and connect, either by solder or screw fitting. It has been running a large air conditioning unit at near its maximum capacity, without even getting warm. A lovely mains cable to work with.
