Numark Party Mix II DJ Controller with Built-in Lights

This is an awesome little piece of kit. I connect it to the Djay app on my macbook and it works great. The unit handles all the audio channels so you can cue a track with headphones and have the main audio coming out of the speakers without any lag so mixing is easy. (just don't use bluetooth as that will lag!) The platters feel pretty good, they are small but perfectly adequate for scratching. The cross fader is lovely, very fluid and easy to crab. The buttons and knobs all feel sturdy and the entire unit feels very well built for the price. I didn't expect to use the lights, I thought they were a bit of a cheap gimmick, but I actually really like them. They are sound-to-light and in a dark room they are enough to really create a party atmosphere. You can turn them off completely if you don't want them though. The new cable set up (compared to the previous hard wired version) is much much better! Cables break and a hard wired cable breaking can easily kill a device, with this you can easily get a new cable if needed and it's also much neater to store or carry without leads hanging out of it. The cable is a like one of those standard printer ones with the square connector so very cheap and easy to replace. I've had a few of these controllers over the years, and used to DJ on much more expensive equipment. This is great for playing around at home and it's very light and compact so good to have in your bag as a back up if needed at a gig. I use this with my laptop and a W-King speaker, without needing to plug anything it, so you can just go a DJ in a random field or on the beach if you want to :)

Still in the box currently. Looks good though. Waiting on my granddaughter to connect it up and train to become the next biggest uk DJ.

I bought this dj board for my teenage son for Christmas. Followed the Instructions on set up and for some reason NOTHING will work!! Bought multiple adapters and tried multiple laptops and phones and still nothing! When it’s plugged into the laptop the dj board is flashing. A waste of money! I have had an upset son since Christmas and googles numerous times on how to get it to work and it appears that everything I try just doesn’t want to work. A real shame. The product came neat and tidy upon taking it out the box, visually the board is great and I like the light feature. Unless mine is faulty, why does it keep flashing every time it’s connected to different phones/ laptops.

Unless you’re an avid DJ and looking to use this daily /often then I would think twice.. firstly it doesn’t work with Apple Music streaming or Amazon music or Spotify. You need to really be signing up up to Tidal which is fine but you then need to pay extra for the DJ add on within Tidal.. it gets expensive If you only want to use it occasionally. we bought this to have a bit of fun with.. and so far it’s been a bit of a headache for all the above reasons. The set up which should have been relatively straightforward has been met with problem after problem. Incompatible laptop, incompatible music streaming service, volume and speakers sometimes take ages to load. It’s just a bit of a nightmare if I’m honest. Had I realised all these issues would present themselves I’d have just sent the thing back.. but we were too far in before realising

Having had issues with the Numark Party Mix II having purchased from a secondary retailer, I thought I'd take a minute to comment on the frankly superb service I have received from both Inmusic and Numark. Bearing in mind that at no point were either to blame or responsible for the issues I was having, the continuing support of both Ben at Inmusic and Richard at Numark (both were taking time out of their actual duties to help me sort my problem) have really blown me away. They are both a credit, and I'm sure that the rest of the staff are as diligent and dedicated as the two I encountered, these things don't happen by accident. My issue isn't solved unfortunately, but it is by no means the fault of Numark/Inmusic,and certainly not the staff. And as it goes, from the brief time I got to use the controller, that was pretty neat too... Have swapped and upgraded to the Party Mix Live with integrated speakers, I'm sure I'll be very happy with my choice. If not, I have full confidence that you guys will be there to help. Sometimes it's not the product that impresses you most, but the level of excellence from good people, so thanks again to all.

Het mengpaneel werkt goed, voelt goed en degelijk aan. Op de labtop werk het programma goed (terwijl mijn labtop 13 jaar oud is) aantal knoppen klinken wel hard als je ze indrukt, maar als je het muziek wat harder zet zul je het vast niet meer horen. Heb het samen gekocht met een grote muismat en game muis en vindt het wel mooi bij elkaar passen.

Hızlı elime ulaştı. Scratch yapmak için aldım. Jog wheellar haliyle bi tık ufak ama alışınca sorun olmuyor. Hafif, taşınabilir. Tidal vs denemedim içindeki beatlerle idare ediyorum şimdilik. Serato dj lite işimi görüyor ama kısıtlamaları var tabii. Toparlarsam üründen memnun kaldım. Arkadaş ortamında djlik yapmak isteyenlerin işini görür bence.
