Update: after this incident I was able to get in contact with the vendor. They sent over a replacement. I had gotten a faulty one . They were quick to respond and resolved matter quickly. Little brother is super happy and it looks awesome.Really disappointed. Got this for my little brother . Arrived today and we tried for an hour to get it work. The laser works fine but the projector light doesn’t work at all.

Such a fun device! This can be used for so many occasions. If you want to relax & have a calming feel to your atmosphere, great for parties, movie night etc. Very easy to set up! Bluetooth, wifi & the app, I had mine set up within 5 minutes. I sat in my room playing around with all the options for about a good 45min. You can change colors, reduce or increase the laser, turn down or up the brightness, you can also choose to rotate or have no movement. I love having the ability to customize depending on what I am using it for. All I an say is that I wish I had this for so many occasions where I would have loved having this projector :)

I had bought one of these in 2020 from Galaxy Lamps website which lasted approximately two years before the laser went out, and I still have it in the guest room on colors only. Schedule always worked, none of it was ever a problem.Come this time around, did some research, decided to get the original vs some $20 knockoffs, and after about two months, now this is happening. Strobing lights, flickering in and out, timer never working…and of course I’m past the return window with no idea what to do. Frustrating.

It would have earned the full five stars if not for the setup with their app. It was the familiar frustration of trying for hours to get the app to work with our phones and having the WiFi connection fail. We had decided to send the lamp back because if we couldn’t use the app we didn’t want to keep it. On a whim, I decided to try adding it as a device to a different app that we use with some of our smart bulbs called “Smart Life.” It’s available in the phone app stores (Android & Apple). Surprisingly, the Smart Life app worked! There was a picture of the Galaxy Lamp in the app as a new device. We named it “Galaxy” for simplicity. The app is enabled with Alexa and we are also able to control basic features, like asking to power the lamp on and off, with or without a timer.Notes about the app setup:There are three tabs at the top of the device page in the app for the controls: Laser, Colour and Scene. The Laser tab has adjustments for the brightness of the stars and the speed of the rotation for the galaxy lights. The Colour tab has two adjustments, one for the overall brightness of the galaxy and the other for the colors (hues). The last tab is called Scene and has preset “recipes” for different combinations of the lights, brightness, speed, etc. At the bottom of the app page are three choices, Timer, power on/off button, and Schedule.I hope this helps someone save time and trouble in adding their Galaxy Lamp to an app. We’re happy with the lamp now that we can customize it with our phones and have been using it daily without any problems.

Returned. I did not prefer this lamp to many others that are half the price. It was fine but why so expensive? I would get two that are cheaper and you will get more coverage that way.

I bought this star projector for my 6 yr old daughters room. She loves it, it covers her entire room, and work exactly as described in the information provided.

It was actually a bit bright for us, but once we found the right spot in the app (good app, but not intuitive), that was easy to fix.Really like that it can be set to turn itself off in the morning so you don’t have to remember. Would be nice if you could set it to go off at sunrise instead of a fixed time.Our cats are enchanted by it as well.

Bought this for my daughter to help her sleep ,does the job

Very good to use however would be good to turn off the laser without the app and run nebula separate

Stopped working little over 6months of occasional use. Will not sync with app or allow manual change of modes. Do not recommend.
