Pizza Pizza Pizza !
If you like cheap frozen pizza or make your own sourdough bases and have a pizza oven this is for you. Ok you might need to remortgage the house or sell one of the children but it is a fantastic book. It is NOT cheap. It is huge and heavy. (Makes a nice small coffee table) It has some beautiful photographs and a lot of history of culture and development of all things pizza. There are recipes and guides, but some might not be easy for the beginner. I love it.

awesome book at good price
Fantastic to get this book including free shipping from Amazon.de for basically the same price as in the US - shipping alone from US would have been 172 USD not to mention customs/toll. The book package weight about 15 kg! The book package is a fantastic reference and encyclopedia with amazing photos describing the history, techniques and recipes of pizza making. 300 Euro may be much for a set of books, but if one can afford it and wants the ultimate resource of pizza making, then it is worth it.

Love the books and chemistry behind them! Love the books! There are 3 books and a spiritual bound recipe book that is so beautiful with the series. The books are very high quality, and the information is outstanding! I already read book 1, That says lot, great read, clearly written, and really kept my attention to all the information inside! The detail of each book explaining about the topic is next to none! IF YOU ARE GOING TO CULINARY COLLEGE IT IS WORTH THE MONEY! Thank you for such a beautiful, purchase

Lovely Set - However Pricey
This is a nice set. However it's very expensive. I am more of a collector when it comes to fancy cookbooks. Do I recommend this set to learn how to make pizza? Honestly no. You can find sets that are just as good if not better at teaching you how to make pizza. This is more of a nice collector set. The first book traces the history of pizza and how it evolved over the centuries. This is my favourite book as I am more of a historian when it comes to how food became the food we eat today. The second book tackles techniques and the science of cooking it with the third being recipes. It is an amazing production since there are many pictures and the books and pages themselves are extremely premium. Again try to snag this on some kind of sale as I do not believe it's worth the money full price unless you're a collector and money isn't an issue for you.

Terrific set from quite a guru chef
This multi-volume set of pizza making books is from Nathan Myrvold. I am impressed with the methodical and technical way that he presents cooking methods, techniques and equipment for the many types of cooking that he has investigated and written about. These are a bit pricey but I feel that all that I need to know is somewhere within the pages of this set. He has done similar sets for bread baking and for modern food preparation. Those volumes remain on my wish list.
