Best all around loppers I have ever used!
I bought these along with the 32 inch Fiskars, and I love both of these loppers. The fiskars is slightly better for the 2 inch trees, but this one is just as good, and easier for everything smaller. These are built rugged like a tank, and my wife likes the handling of these a little bit better and easier than the slightly larger fiskars. If your clearing a lot of small trees and saplings, these are a must! Worth every penny, highly recommend. Iโve cut about 500 trees so far, keep them sprayed with silicone, and the cut through large branches like butter. You wonโt be sorry, and these probably will last 20 years if you take care of them. Replacement blades available, but the one I have has not dulled a bit. Do it! Save time, effort and your back wielding a chain saw way less.

Feels like an old school tool
Solid - cuts through branches with little effort. With some effort you can exceed the maximum circumference.

Works perfectly!
My neighbor has a huge pecan tree that was overhanging my balcony making it nearly unusable. Branches that needed cutting were 1 inch thick. After struggling with a bypass lopping shear that would only cut partially. I bought this shear. It made quick and easy work of the job. Bypass version would let the blades split apart and leave only a partial cut. The anvil mechanism of these prevents that. High quality, very sharp. The extension mechanism works easily and effectively. Excellent tool! Now I can get to my bench and enjoy my balcony!

Absolutely fit for use.
After one use, I find the GG21A to be a great tool. It cut through +1 inch branches easily. The extension mechanism worked well and it appears to be sturdy.I almost did not buy because of the one star reviews, but then realized they were for a different Tabor model. If the GG21A holds up I will change to five stars.

Good for larger bushes and branches
Worked well for larger branches. So far has lived up to specs advertised. Is a little heavy but to do the job they have to be a bit beefy

The best pair of loppers I have used.
TABOR TOOLS GG12 Anvil Lopper with Compound Action, Chops Thick Branches with Ease, Tree Trimmer, Branch Cuttter with 2 Inch Clean Cut Capacity, 30 Inch.I purchased these to replace Corona FL 3470 Compound Action Bypass Lopper with Extendable Handles, 1-1/2" Cut, 21" to 33" Length which are the worst pair of loppers I have used.I needed a good pair of loppers that could handle a LOT of use and finally, after comparing many different types and brands I settled on TABOR TOOLS GG12A Anvil Lopper. The product title says GG12 but the Item model number and the tool says GG12A. Once these arrived I went to find some work for the loppers and they surprised me. I had been using my neighbor's Corona FL 3470 loppers(I take care of their landscaping too) and I now know what I've been missing. The handles are nice and comfortable. I read a review stating the grips were "rock hard" but they're not. They aren't cushy foam grips that will deteriorate over time either(Looking at you Corona). The handles are sorta long so this isn't good for close quarter trimming. At the same time the amount of space needed to fully open the loppers is less than some others I've used. The business end has a little hook on the tip that looks like it prevents the blades from rejecting a slippery fat limb. It's the little things that show TABOR TOOLS puts thought into their products. For those who might be wondering the difference between bypass and anvil loppers it's pretty simple. The bypass blades bypass each other and cut the same way a pair of scissors does. An anvil lopper has 1 blade and an "anvil" and cuts similar to a chef's knife on a cutting board. They were well greased at the factory so keeping them greased is my responsibility. But how do they cut? Does it really cut like a knife through butter? Close but no. The old loppers I was using needs a LOT of help from whoever is operating them. Usually it's the tool that is supposed to allow you to work smarter and not harder. These new Tabor Tools loppers do the work for me like they're supposed to. There is a certain width that I don't even try with the Corona loppers. I was applying the same thinking with these loppers but Coronoa's 3470 1 1/2" and Tabor's 2" GG12A are very different. Hmmmm. WOW. I looked at the fat 2" limb with doubt and got a good bite and firmly pressed the handles together. The limb was easily cut and with the thinner branches the GG12A actually chuckles with the light work and cuts closer to a hot knife through warm butter. The old Corona would shred thin and green branches necessitating traditional pruning shears. Now I can use 1 tool instead of two.Do I recommend TABOR TOOLS GG12 Anvil Lopper with Compound Action, Chops Thick Branches with Ease, Tree Trimmer, Branch Cuttter with 2 Inch Clean Cut Capacity, 30 Inch.? Yes I do.

Should have bought this YEARS ago. Iโm 5โ2โ. This tool is AMAZING! I used it to today, and the telescopic handle allowed me to trim the tree limbs off the fence line.

Brilliant
I am a 68 weak debilertated female with severe ME/CFS 30 years with muscle pain everywhere. Very little strength in hands and arms etc yet even I managed with this amazing tool to cut down so many thick branches with small repeated cuts done over and over again until I got the blasted branch to give way!! For a strong male this tool will be a doddle but even weak me managed remarkably well. You just have to give repeated cuts in the same place and pause and rest your arms then continue. It is strong and sturdy and I feel safe using it. It is solid, well made and robust. I also bought small seceteaures from the same company. That too is excellent. This tool is firm and very comfortable to hold and manoeuvre. For easier thinner branches it is a super easy one clean snap ! Highly recommend and great value for money. It is so robust solid and not heavy heavy. People like me just need to do things slowly and carefully and keep pausing between pruning each branch. This tool has made the impossible possible so I am very grateful to the company.

These are so good, my neighbour lent me hers a few years ago and I couldn't hold them due to being so heavy and I have a disability, I am even worse now but managed to use these well.Very sharp, thickish branches were cut with very little effort, nice clean cuts, my mum wants some now!
