A very sweet story with wonderful illustrations
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys children's picture books. I was interested in becoming a children's librarian when I was younger, and I still collect them even though I ended up in another field.The illustrations are charming, and the story is too. Great for all cozy Halloween lovers of any age! My mom was thinking of buying one for herself after reading mine because it was so cute. Multi-generational appeal! I also recommend Gustavo The Shy Ghost, and The Little Ghost Who Was a Quilt if you like this genre of picture books. Also, The Skull by Jon Klassen for adults and kids who aren't easily spooked since it is slightly less cutesy. They all have a retro feel about them, which I love.

Tear Jerker?!
I was NOT expecting this book to make me tear up. Not only is this book so unique in the way that it's written, beautifully illustrated, and funny, but it is also SO heart-warming and just makes you feel all the things! I never thought a book I checked out from the library for my daughter for Halloween would have me crying, but because it did, I immediately ordered it from Amazon. Buy this book!

Adorable and sweet
I fell in love with the cover of this book, bought it for myself to read. I really enjoyed it, and the illustrations were so well done. I recommend it to child or adult to have in your collection. This is a keeper!
