Review: Great educational book, not really for little - This book scared my 5-year-old until I sat down and explained everything to him; then he was fascinated. His school requires children to bring a book to school for the Halloween costume parade, and it has to correlate with the costume. This was perfect for his skeleton costume and it is a great learning resource fur that we will probably use for many years. It's a quality book with thick cover and strong binding. Review: 4 year old future doctor loves this - I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter who is obsessed with being a doctor and learning about the human body. She carries this book with her everywhere. She has learned a great deal and loves to share what she has learned. If you know a child who is interested in anatomy, this is a great introduction for them. The book is the perfect size and great for small hands.

Good gateway to get your kid interested in biology and anatomy.
I come from a medical family and this book is a good start for kids who are starting to get interested in the human body and anatomy. It keeps things at high levels and takes lots of liberties. However it presents topics in easy to understand bite size facts.

Great book for learning, appropriately challenging for a 5-6 year old.
This is a well-written book that provides information to genuinely challenge young readers. Our five-year-old is currently at a reading level of 700-800L and really enjoys this book. She loves to remember the facts included. I find the text simple enough for her to read, yet challenging enough that she is learning significantly. I believe it is suitable for any young reader who has a passion for learning. The information is organized by function, and each body system/function is described in simple terms.

Great for homeschool!
A perfect book to add to our homeschool library!! Nice durable cover and thick pages. The pictures and text are appropriate. Iโll try to include a few pictures, in case thatโs something that worries you, too ๐

Great introduction for kids
Purchased this because my son(4-5) was starting to ask lots of questions about how his body works. He has learned a great deal with me reading this to him over several months so he wasn't overwhelmed with the amount of information. I like that there is a small experiment included at the end of each chapter/unit that uses simple supplies that most people have on hand already. My son was interested that he would choose to read this at bedtime instead of some of his other books. There is a section on reproduction at the end of the book. It includes all the body parts for male and female and mentions that sperm and egg have to come together to make a baby, but doesn't mention how that happens. I feel like this is a good introduction for curious kids without overloading them with information.

Great addition to the home library, very informative with lots of coloured illustrations
Bought because my 7 year old was asking questions I could not answer about the human anatomy. We have enjoyed reading and learning together. Lots of illustrations that break down the different parts. I have read through myself and found it very fascinating. When I read to her I skip some of the technical stuff and terminology as not to bore her or lose interest. Now granted this is not a medical book so donโt expect to learn every part and its function or become a Dr. But for a curious kid and parents I would recommend it.

Poorly made
We were sent two copies of this book and both were damaged on the outside covers, so both were returned. The cover is made with an unusual soft feel which can be damaged very easily so its not suprising they both came in bad condition. The contents of the book looked ok although there was not as many pictures as I would have expected when aimed at children.
