Took my grandkids (2 boys ages 6 and 10) to a toy store when they visited from the West Coast. They picked out other nice toys, while I was drawn to the Shashibo puzzle cubes and bought 2 for myself. During the visit they played more and more with the Shashibos. As they were leaving to go to the airport, I asked if they would each like one and they beamed and took them home! Honestly, this is such a great item — it’s a puzzle and also a satisfying lesson in geometry for young and old minds. It’s satisfying to hear the magnets ‘click’ as you manipulate it into different shapes. After the grandkids “took” my Shashibos, I ordered the Collectors Edition of four cubes for myself — my wife even approved my purchase after seeing how much fun the boys and I had with them!
