Amazing Case
Usually i don’t write reviews but I’m really impressed with this case! The material feels durable and high-quality, offering excellent protection without adding too much bulk. The fit is perfect, snaps right on and keeps the iPad secure. I also love the sleek design, it looks modern and professional while still being lightweight. The built-in stand is very sturdy and makes it convenient for watching videos, typing, or video calls. The auto sleep/wake feature works flawlessly, which helps extend battery life. The pencil works perfectly and secured in place! Magnet is very strong and hold perfectly! Overall, this case is a great balance between style, functionality, and protection. Definitely worth the price, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable case for their iPad.

Still works like new after 3+ years
I'm writing this review over 3 years after I purchased this for both my girlfriend and I. We still have it on our iPad to this day and it still looks/feels brand new, so I felt like I HAD to come write a review. Fits perfectly on our iPad, it's not too thick and fits just right. After 3 years it still holds up perfectly and has no issues. We're both students and this case has had monumental impacts on our note taking. It has magnets, it holds the iPad up at multiple angles, and it has a slot for the pencil that holds it in with magnets and charges it. Nothing more you could ask for in a case. It feels sturdy and well-made. If you're a student, or you overall just use your iPad a lot, get it. It's worth the money. You're paying for quality and it will last you a long time. If you get a cheaper phone case, after 3 years, you would have ended up spending the same amount of money as this 1 case on multiple cases instead. Skip that and just get this instead.

It's only my 2nd ZUGU Case, because the first one from 2016 is still nearly perfect
Most of my work with the iPad is digital illustration and photographic editing, so I'm in Procreate, Photoshop, and Lightroom constantly. Nearly all of this work is done while traveling or on locations, so I need something that is primarily functional and protective without being bulky. The styling is a bonus, but you really cannot beat the finish and feel of this case. This is an elite way to carry your iPad Pro. I bought my previous ZUGU case for the first generation of 12.9" iPad Pro. I'd gone through 4-5 other cases and none of them fit my needs. Not only was the finish amazing, it was durable and easily set into a range of positions. Coffee shops, hotel rooms, airplanes, and more are easy to adapt to and the hard cover offers great safety from the rigors of travel. The photos of the darker case show wear after SIX YEARS. These cases are amazing and durable. Since 2016, I've logged thousand of miles and hours with a single ZUGU case. The ONLY reason I bought a new one is because my original iPad finally died. I looked around at other cases, but came back to ZUGU because I trust it. My first case is still in near-perfect condition after almost constant use, being stuffed in backpacks and messenger bags and luggage, set up on dirty picnic tables, and used in dozens of airports. If you have the iPad Pro, also get a camera protector. The basic ones here on Amazon fit really will with this case, and are totally worth it. I also have a glass screen protector and there is no interference at all. One of the more thoughtful updates from the first design is that the cover now nests within the edges of the case. Use the tab to open it up. Artists - this is the case you want. It's solid and will keep your screen safe. Be sure to clean the inside surface carefully to keep out dust and grit (I use a thin screen wipe that I replace every few weeks). Unless you're use to bearing down on your screen while working, ZUGU will hold securely. Aside from industrial applications, professional users should really start here. The case is slender, fits perfectly, looks amazing, and will protect your iPad Pro from the rigors of daily use.

Perfect case for iPad Pro 12.9 2022 model
I originally bought another brand but found it to be terrible. My husband has this case for the 11 inch 2021 iPad Pro, and told me to buy this. I originally deterred from this due to price (Nillken was almost half this price and also has rotating magnetic). I am blown away by the quality of this. 1) packaging is spectacular- I felt like I was opening a new ipad box again. Packing has a clear plastic cover (see photo), study box (see photo) and internal packing is well protected (see photo). The case itself fits perfectly, well made sturdy material and protective. I love that the front flap is flush when closed - no gaps. All ipad buttons, camera and speakers perfectly fit where they need to. The magnet pencil area fits the Apple Pencil 2nd generation externally and also has a pocket to stick it in the back. Magnet on the back is very strong and holds up on a magnet surface (see video-I used a refrigerator). My husband helped in the video to see how much force it would take for the magnet to shift and it took a lot, so you know the magnetic is strong. Overall, I love the sleek design. It is obvious the project creator has put great thought into making a product that will fit perfectly, look sleek, and protect your iPad. I have the iPad Pro 12.9 in 256 GB that is $1200 + tax, so I need to protect it without having any concern for damage. My only concern is how long the material will last. My husband’s 2.5 year old case is no slightly peeling at the folding point- but then again it’s been 2.5 years with extensive use and travel with it, so it is justifiable. Price is worth every penny!

Never Thought I’d Be Happy Paying This Much For an iPad Case
Just like the title says. I’m an artist and so when I got my iPad Pro, I was looking for a case with a built-in kickstand so I could adjust the angle while I draw. I had my eye on two other much cheaper cases of similar design. I really wasn’t even planning on getting this one because I just couldn’t fathom paying this much money for a case. After using all three extensively, I returned the other two and was very happy to keep this one. While there are cheaper cases to be found that look very similar in design and features, they are not created equal. The build quality of this case is phenomenal and It’s very sturdy. If you were just propping up the iPad to watch a movie that might not matter very much. For artists, having a solid platform while you’re sketching is a must. Of the three cases I originally bought to try out, this is the only one that hit the mark. The magnets are very strong, enough that you can pick it up and move it around without the large flap disconnecting from the angle adjustment arm. The fit is very precise, and the Apple Pencil charges through the case no problem. I don’t find the pencil sleeve on the backside of the case to be useful at all. I’m not even sure exactly why it’s there as the one built into the side of the case works great . This has 10 adjustment angles whereas the other two cases I tried only have seven. That little bit of extra flexibility can make all the difference depending on your set up. One other big point I noticed between this and the cheaper competition: the angle adjustment flap, that supports the weight of the iPad and magnetically connects to the larger main flap. On the cheaper model, the magnetic points of contact are very thin and the flap itself feels quite flimsy too. By comparison, this one is beefy and very sturdy. If you only ever draw sitting at a table or desk, honestly, the cheaper models would probably be OK. I think they will wear out much faster, but they are sturdy enough for that. If you ever draw with the iPad sitting in your lap, while on the couch or in bed, they are worthless. That’s ultimately the deciding factor for me. This case is by far the most versatile, the most sturdy , and worth every penny of its some white high price tag. My only complaint? I wish the Apple Pencil would slot into its holder on the side of the case with the tip pointing down. It will only slot in with the tip pointing up and, while that does make it much more secure I always fumble with it because my natural inclination is to orient the pen the other direction. Minor complaint, not enough to knock off a star.

Zugu Pros and Cons
Very good case and if you take proper care, it can be built for longevity. I used this for roughly 4-5 years and the buttons were tactile, case has several positions/angles for usage. Only reason i’m rating this 4/5 stars is because, if you rough use the case the glue starts wearing out and the buttons will rip off as well as the material near the buttons. Along w/ my previous statement this also seems to a bit on the expensive side if you compare with the ESR Shift series, which has everything zugu has but better, maybe with slightly cheaper material but still functionally it’s all the same.

An elegant, functional, and well thought out, sturdy case for my iPad Pro 12.9 6th gen 2022.
I have to start off with, that this is the most expensive case I’ve ever bought for my iPad Pro. I usually look for cases in the $20 or under range and skip over any cases that cost above that range. My previous case was a Fintie slim folio case $23, which was a very simple case and not too well thought out, hence wanting to change to a different one. This Zugu slate blue case first caught my eyes with its elegant and good looking design, and I especially love the two tone colors. After looking through the case description, I was sold on this case. This case does add a lot of weight to the my already heavy iPad Pro 12.9. So for those looking for a slim lightweight case, this case isn’t for you. If you made it this far and still sticking around, I will continue with my review below. I was able to install my iPad Pro into this case without too much hassle. It wraps around my iPad Pro 12.9 perfectly, with the cutouts aligning with all the ports and openings. The power button and volume button covers have a very nice clicky feel, as if you were clicking on the actual buttons. My previous Fintie case, the power and volume button covers felt very forced and don’t have a nice feel to it like this Zugu case. The sleep and wake feature works smoothly as expected. The Apple Pencil holder on the side lines up the pencil perfectly with its magnet. The Apple Pencil feels quite secure in place of the holder, but it is dented in at the center of the holder area, so at the same time the holder offers quick easy access to pull out the pencil when I need it. Again, my previous Fintie case, it had a pencil holder area where I need to push the pencil down in place. It did have a small push hole behind the area to push up the pencil for you to pull it out, but I always have to push it a couple of times for the pencil to push out just enough so my fingers can pull it out, which can be a fight most of the time, just to use the pencil. Well thought out design of the Apple Pencil side holder for the Zugu case. This case offers 10 different angles for you to stand up my iPad Pro, which is a lot more than most cases offered. The magnet is strong enough to stand it at all the angles available. It feels very sturdy and I never had to worry that it will fall backwards while working. When I have to fold the front flap flat to the back of the case, the magnet does hold the front flap in place, so it doesn’t fall off to force you to hold the iPad Pro by the right corners. When I need to close my iPad Pro, I simply push the flap from the left towards the right a little to release the front flap from the magnet hold, easy peasy. I had many previous cases that don’t hold the front flap in place when flipping the flap to the back of the case, and it is extremely annoying when a case does that. I did try sticking my iPad Pro on refrigerator and the magnet was strong enough to hold my heavy iPad Pro on it, but it did start to slide down a little bit at a time by the minute, so I wouldn’t be sticking it on the fridge for long period of time. Perhaps those same magnets might work better with lighter iPads like the regular ones or the Air. Anyway, it isn’t a really dealbreaker for me, nor a reason to deduct a star. Some reviewers reported that they were having problems plugging in their USB-C cable through the cutout, but I did not experience it. Plugging in and out of the port through the cutout was smooth and problem-free. I find the stylus pouch holder on the back of the case a nice touch. I know some reviewers questioned the need of having the stylus pouch holder or even called it a stupid unnecessary add on, but I personally love having it and think it was a genius to include it. Not everyone uses the Apple Pencil all the time, and it might not be a good idea to have it constantly being charged at all times. When I’m not using my Apple Pencil and it is fully charged, I like to keep it inside the pouch holder. And also, although the side pencil holder feels very secure while holding the pencil, but it is always hard to say when you’re traveling around and bumping into crowds that it won’t get brushed off. Having the pencil pouch holder in the back can give a peace of mind in those situations. I don’t foresee myself using my iPad Pro that often outside of my office, so it wouldn’t be the reason for me to use the pencil pouch holder. I use it mostly to keep my Apple Pencil from being overcharged. But for me, I like to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it for unforeseen situations. Kudos to Zugu designer whoever thought it would be a nice touch to include it with the case. Like any products, I do think this case does have room for improvement. Personally, I would love a version of this case where the front flap is also trifold like a folio case, instead of just one big flat piece, where I can fold it into a triangle, so I can simply stand my iPad Pro when I have limited desk space. That would surely make this case the absolute perfect case for me. With the simple trifold flap, combined with the sturdy 10 angle adjustment stand, and all the other current features of this case, it will make one heck of a premium case for me to upgrade. This case as it stands is definitely a five stars. But with my suggested addition, it will easily be a 5+ stars for me. I really hope the Zugu designers will consider it for a future version. But currently, an excellent case indeed.

Excellent Quality
I just ordered my 2nd one! I love love love this cover! It has been so resilient and protected my iPad from falls. Ive dropped this a few times and was suprised at how well it took the abuse. Tons of daily use and this cover has held up wonderfully. I'm ready for a new color and my current one has some cracking lines appearing on the inside crease of the flap. They aren't very obvious but I can see them and I want to freshen up.
