You are never going to get Angelina Jolie or Kylie Jenners lips with a plumper, so set that expectation aside to begin with. Kylie owns a cosmetics company and she still went and got lip injections, that will tell you there is simply nothing in a non invasive cosmetic out there to make your lips that full. Having said that, I was fully prepared to have wasted my money on this and to have it be another plumper that lasts a whole 30 minutes and then "deflategate" BUT I was pleasantly surprised. After reading the reviews, I was intrigued enough to risk a purchase and so glad I did. I have a very thin upper lip and a small but slightly plump in the middle lower lip, but when I smile my top lip completely disappears and the bottom thins considerably. I don't need lips that look like I've injected balloons under the skin, I just want a slightly fuller upper lip and lips that didn't disappear completely when I smiled. I got that and more. The BEST part of this product is that it lasts. I try to put this on once a day but frequently forget and rarely use it everyday. But when I remember and run to the mirror to put it on, I smile at myself in the mirror to see if it's completely deflated and surprisingly, even after not applying for 2 days, I'll still see a full upper lip looking back at me! Thats pretty amazing. It does have a slight tingle when you first put it on, but that goes away pretty fast. It is kind of thick and gloomy for 30 minutes or so, but I don't use makeup regularly, so I think anything would feel thick to me. I have not tried it with lipstick so can't tell you about how that would look, etc. But if it works this well when I forget it half the time, I wonder how my lips will work if I actually use it once or twice a day!!

I have been using the clear gloss city lips for years. This order this time they changed the packaging and the formula. 1) new packaging is missing the inner plastic to help with smooth application. The new one is messy, sticky, and has too much on the brush it spills over the top when trying to get it out. 2) the formula must have changed. The original used to tingle when applied and leave my lips plump and pink. The new one does nothing. Bottom line...it looks like I will be finding a new product especially since this new clear city lip gloss is not worth the price and lack of results. See my photos and video.

This is the only product that has helped me. Winter is tough on dry chapped cracking lips. As a nervous lip chewer, and chronic nail biter (I know, ew) City Lips has changed my life. This may be a bit thick and sticky for some but its the reason my lips are in the best shape they have ever been in. It is soothing, cooling, hydrating, and stops me from chewing nails or lips. I can transition from indoor to outdoor activities like skiing and snowshoeing and never have a concern about my lips getting chapped. No mirrors needed as the clear can go anywhere and still look great. Even after it drys out it still has deeper hydration than anything else I have ever used. I reapply 2-3 times a day and it really fills my lips out which is an extra bonus. I am prone to smokers lines (non smoker mid 30s) and this has definitely helped with continuous use.Only cons, its sticky, hair gets caught up in it, with that said it gives me beautiful shiny full lips all day. The price is also a con but it does seem to last a long time at least 2 months. Put on at night wake up with hydration. Bottom line I highly recommend.

Old formula, navy box: No plumping, but the absolute best hydration for my very dry lips. Been using it for years. Nothing before or since has worked so well. New formula, white box: The plumping works! But feels like 1000 tiny paper cuts on my lips. Can't eat salty or spicy food or apply a product with sunscreen. I really hate that I have give this up

To get visible long lasting results you need to reapply many times throughout the day. I appreciate that it doesn't cause a ton of irritation like most plumpers do, but it is annoying how frequently you need to apply since it's a pretty sticky lip gloss. Nonetheless, it does give plumping results but takes some more time & diligence than the ads show. I found it drys your lips out after about 3 days of consistent use which makes getting the best results frustrating. I would say if you live anywhere the weather gives you dry lips, definitely don't use this in the winter.

Second time ordering this City Lips clear gloss! As a nurse, I’m running most of my shift and I just reach in my pocket and pull out my lip therapy which hydrates immediately leaving my lips soft and healthy! Love the shine, comfort and long lasting effect. I also use it at bedtime for morning perfectly hydrated lips. Would definitely keep buying it!

Not a fan at all. Did not plump lips and felt way. Too. Sticky. I still prefer two faced lip injections even though I know the ingredients are less than ideal. This was too pricey for the lack of results and gross texture.

This is the only lip gloss that actually HELPS my lips. I've had cracked dry lips for years and tried countless products to find something to help and THIS one was it! It's the only one I use now and my lips have finally recovered from extreme dryness - thanks to this gloss.

I don't really own a top lip and they are always cracked, dry and peeling at this time of year. I'm not willing to have things injected into my face for fashion. This product helps moisturise and plump. When i can be bothered to add liner and lipstick, they look lovely. I wouldn't be without it. Jobs a good un.

Works great as a lip gloss… been using for over a month now and it does absolutely nothing for lip plumping.
