The best leca Iโve ever had, the only one Iโll buy
This is perfect leca. Nice and tiny size makes it so pleasant to plant with. Requires the usual rinsing and a bit of sifting to remove broken bits, but less than some other brands I tried. Bag seems small, but will fill at least two 6โ pots and then some. Would be buying again. If youโre new to leca: wash it like rice, rinsing until the water is mostly clear behind first use. Wash out outside, donโt let clay down your drain. I also recommend using a sifter after the first rinse to separate the fines. Pro tip: store the clean leca in nutrient water, so itโs hydrated and ready to go when planting. I store mine in a giant cleaned out costco pretzels container, but a 4qt cambro should also work. Remember leca is super lightweight but voluminous,

Pretty good, will actually sink
Good leca compared to most. About half of them sank after soaking for 48 hours. I boiled the remaining half that was still floating to release the air pockets for about 10 minutes. Then let them sit in the water for another 5 minutes and they all sank.

Great quality!
So pleased with the Organic Expanded Clay ( Balls ) pebbles. Great quality, they are in different sizes too. Rinsed w/ water in a bucket, to remove all the clay dust. I had orchid knats and it was very annoying and damaging my orchids. I had sprayed weekly with Neem Oil on the orchid wood chips, to kill the knats with no success! I had watched several youtube videos about re planting orchids and the clay pebbles. I also had ordered 5" clear plastic orchid cups with holes on the sides and bottom, great quality too! I have noticed new very small growth on the orchids. So pleased with the Clay Pebbles & the Success!

Great for Adding Drainage or Mulching House plants
Great for creating extra drainage at the bottom of a pot or mixing in with other mediums. I also like to use them to mulch some of my house plants or young cuts that I am trying to root. Be warned, they are very DIRTY and create a big red cloud of dust when poured into a pot. Also, these are very buoyant and will float, which you may want to consider if using them as a primary medium or for hydroponic gardens.

Not exactly as described
Shapes and sizes inconsistent. Most of pebbles are 1/4 the size of the larger ones. Not โ4lbsโ. Advertisements are just a bit misleading. They arent packaged in the same bags shown in the pictures. Just a plain grey bag. I only bought these because I can get them nowhere else. The bag of pebbles is about equivalent to a shoe box storage container. Almost fills the tote which is about 6in W x 12in L x 4in H. None of this is particularly bad, they will still serve their purpose, but I just wish the description and pictures were more accurate.
