I purchased two lamps, one for my living room and one for my bedroom. I love the dimmer switch so I can adjust the light at night. Both are beautiful warm lights in my house. My therapist recommended them and after a few days of keeping them on all the time, I do feel more relaxed, less moody and sleep better. They're beautiful, look great and come ready to use. Very pleased.

Arrived intact. Very pleased with the ambient light. One point I would like to make is that it seems this light should always be kept on to keep the crystal in a dry state by the heat of the incandescent bulb. Makes sense considering that it's an actual salt crystal and would be effected by humidity. Don't let that discourage you from getting one, they are very beautiful and if you're concerned about keeping it turned on you can use the dimmer to reduce the electric draw. Would recommend.

Love the lamp but when I opened it the cord was broken. Contacted amazon and was told they couldn't replace my plug. Had to order a new one but other then that it works great!

Beautiful, solid item. Wood base very well made. Lovely glow, nice dimmer. Does it noticeably clean the air? Not that I can tell. Does it eliminate odors? Not that I can tell. Is it hype? I think so. Am I glad I bought it? Yes. No matter if it does/doesn't do all those things, I really love my lamp. Is it really because I am a child of the 70s? Most likely, yes. Peace out..........

I have ordered 4 of the Natural Himalayan Salt Lamps for myself & 12 for friends & co-workers. I love mine & have heard wonderful results from the others that I ordered for as well. My husband & I both seem to sleep better with the lamps. I have 2 in the bedroom, 1 in the living room & 1 in our daughter's bedroom. Two of the lamps had broken dimmer switches when they arrived. I e-mailed the Blazing Fast Services Company, where the lamps were shipped from, and received a response back from Ren within a couple of hours. He had the replacement cords in the mail to me right away. What wonderful customer service. I have, and will continue to recommend these lamps from this company to everyone.

Wow, price right, prompt delivery and excellent customer service. It is beautiful and I believe a "show stopper " for conversation. Since I've never owned nor known anyone with a Himalayan Salt Lamp, I cannot attest to the Health benefits and would comment later if I personally get one. I would definitely use it as a lamp. I've bought this for a Christmas gift and all my questions have been answered. I just wish I was the recipient! I might have to buy another!

The dimmer switch is nice. There's a little but of brown paint on the stone down by where the base joins, but it's not really noticeable. I like that the base is attached to the lamp. I don't know that it does any of the stuff it promises, because the light doesn't really produce enough heat to actually "charge" the stone. But I'm happy that way - I wouldn't want it to get too hot anyway.

This is not the salt lamp you are looking for. first one I got came broken, 2nd one came with the base broken, the wood was cracked all the way thru and the screws in the base are stripped out. Unsafe to use as the base is what holds the salt lamp upright, weight is 10 pounds, that would hurt if it fell on someone and would crack the tile floor not to mention making quite a mess. I had pics of both I have no idea where the first set is, so i'm uploading pics of the 2nd broken one as promised to amazon rep. Please also note in the zoomed in pic of the screw that it isn't even screwed into the actual salt lamp, the screw is broken off.
