Does it carve into stone and crystal?

Yes and is the perfect tool if the others are too powerful or not.powerful enough but I only had mine for about three months and am now looking to buy another one or a replacement motor but can't seem to find a motor to fit it anywhere. Idk why it stopped working I thought the battery just died but pretty sure I had charged it completely before theast use so I charged it up and it still wouldn't turn back on...still has never turned on again...and I take very good care of my things so it wasn't thrown around and dropped or anything and I didn't put too much pressure on it or "man handle" it in any way so it didn't last very long at all but am thinking of buying another one since they're so cheap but the perfect size and torch for sanding, polishing cutting and carving crystals and gemstones.

Can this be used for drilling holes in Tumbler cups ?

I would say no. It’s not that strong. Mine stopped working after two months too.
