My energy booster. Works for me very well for energy and positive mood. Love it. Taste great like caramel syrup, so I add to coffee. But good also in smoothies as taste is nonexistent in fruit smoothies

I've been taking this stuff for months now. I thought I'd return and share my thoughts/experiences. First, the negatives: Maca powder does NOT taste good. At all. If someone writes that it does, they're either lying or enjoy the taste of dirt, LOL. I've tried taking it in my coffee or mixing it into a mashed up banana to mask the taste. At present, I can stomach it best with a large glass of milk. For a little while, I did experience stomach cramping an hour or so after drinking it, but this side effect has seemed to disappear when I drink it with milk. This leads me to the positives of maca root: I continue to take it because I noticed the benefits, such as better focus, energy, mood and digestion. It took me a couple of months to piece it together, honestly. I started taking this stuff because I want to get pregnant (note: still not pregnant...) but I continue to take it because of these other benefits. For example, don't drink/ingest this stuff too close to your bedtime, otherwise you'll be wide awake half the night. Also, it appears to alleviate some of my ADHD symptoms too. I still take an ADHD medication to assist me during the day, but this stuff seems to be working well in conjunction with it, which really surprised me. I experience better mood too, especially at the end of a long working day dealing with kids all day (both at work and my own). As I mentioned above, my digestive upset seems to have disappeared once I started blending 1 tsp of maca powder into 1 cup of milk. Use a milk frother to get it to mix together, otherwise you'll get globs of maca to swallow. Gross. So this stuff gets 5 stars, despite its disgusting taste, as that's the fault of maca root being gross, not the fault of the provider/manufacturer. :) I kinda wish there were more scientific studies on this stuff. So far, in my opinion, it's one of the few 'herbal supplements' with any truth to its claims.

This Maca Root is perfect when put into my smoothies and cereal. It's also perfect for Prostate Health.

I have been mixing this into my coffee, it does have a hint of the taste and it does not fully dissolve easily. I mix it with a small blender then typically add more hot coffee near the end of the cup to try to dissolve it more. It’s typically gritty at this stage. Trying to find other methods to get it to dissolve fully.
