New Chapter Supercritical Lemon Balm Force Supplement, 30 Count

Like many adults I suffer from issues with anxiety from time to time. It can be made worse depending on the time of the month and my cycle, and I've also noticed that eating certain foods can make me anxious (such as meals that are heavy in carbohydrates). I didn't want to take anything prescription and wanted to find a more natural alternative to help me with my problems. I stumbled upon some articles recommending Lemon Balm and decided to give it a try. I have been very pleased with the New Chapter line of supplements in the past so they are the ones I turned to to buy this product. It's only 30 capsules and it says to take one a day. After just a few days I noticed an immediate difference. I take it at night and feel calmer and less stressed within a half hour and I think it actually seems to help me to fall asleep easier. I had some issues prior to taking this with being restless at bedtime but those seem to be going away and this is the only change that I have made to my routine. They are pricey but I think of it as an investment in my health. If it works then it beats having to take a prescription medication for anxiety or depression and deal with the myriad of side effects that those cause. I had to wait for this to come back in stock but once it was in I received it within 2 days via Prime shipping. So I don't know if this routinely sells out or what but I would recommend you buy it as soon as it is in stock if you intend to try it or need to reorder it. So far I have not experienced any sort of a side effect that could be considered negative but you might want to be careful with taking it during the day as I did find it makes me sleep easier.

I don’t get anxiety attacks that often but when I take it, after several minutes when it begins to dissolve believe it or not, I have a “ Xanax sigh.” If you’ve ever taken a Xanax you know how after many minutes, when it hits you, many of you will get that nice long sigh where are you begin to calm down. I swear to God, I get that with THIS lemon balm. You have to get a good brand like this one. Other cheaper brands definitely don’t do this, nor does a liquid form of it because it’s to dilute. It also isn’t such a hit over the head like Xanax. For many people Xanax makes you numb or lethargic. Me too. This doesn’t do that in any way at all. It’s a really clean lovely broad scope calming herb. I’m sensitive so most things work on me. If you’re not sensitive it may not, don’t shoot the messenger ;) I can also say, many years ago when I lived above a wholefoods in Manhattan and I first began experimenting with herbs and supplements, their supplement department said they often run out of this one because it’s so popular/works well for many people. That was always a good indicator of a quality product. New Yorkers are gonna mess around ;)

This product is strong, it probably has great benefits but didn’t work for me. It caused great anxiety and depression, rapid heart rate combined to the point I thought I was taking a nose dive in my mental health. Until I did some research I found out it has bad interactions with hypothyroidism.

I had been using different brands of lemon balm for awhile for helping w sleep and when I seen this and the price I was skeptical of whether it would really be any different. Well I'm so glad I was able to get it at such a great price the first time, or I might not have been willing to try it, bc this stuff works so much better than any other I've tried so far. I'll be sticking w this from now on.

I've taken a few lemon balm supplements over the years. I also have fresh lemon balm growing on my back deck. It can be a PITB to prepare the fresh lemon balm...and even so...I haven't had the response with other lemon balm supplement brands or with the fresh lemon balm as I've had with this particular supplement. I take 2 a day - one in the morning and one an hour before bed. I'm sleeping a little better. The most noticeable improvement has been my response to daily stressors. Owning a business can be VERY stressful at times, and the years have taken a toll. With this supplement, I feel calm, more relaxed and better equipped to handle stresses of any sort - business or personal. I got another family member started on the same supplement, and that person has noticed an improvement as well.

I've bought cheaper one's that work even better than these!

Lemon balm is an amazing herb, and this company provides an extract that is definitely medicinal. I tend to like New Chapter products, it seems like their chemists are pretty adept at knowing how to properly extract various herbs.
