In summary: putting these on a couple of hours before bed time makes a huge benefit to my quality of sleep. If I combine this darkening the room somewhat an hour before bed and having a cup of camomile tea, then I sleep perfectly. In detail: I have done a lot of research on this, and most of the so called blue light filter glasses let large ranges of wavelengths through that are associated with circadian waking. This however, is the only pair I found the truly filter out ALL of the blue hues. This is easy to tell, as light and mid and light blues appear completely green or grey though these, and dark blues appear completely black. Soon after I put them on at 9pm every evening, I can feel the appropriate circadian relaxation that comes with the rising melatonin (caused by the absence of the melatonin-suppressing blue light) I can then continue to work at my pc/laptop or phone for a couple of hours without disturbing this natural biochemical trend towards sleepiness. As the intensity of light is also a factor in circadian rhythm (in addition to blue light proportion) I turn the light out in my study and turn the brightness and contrast down on my pc. These glasses mean that even if I go out to of the darkened study to the kitchen for example, the increasing relaxation towards sleep will not be broken (it only takes a few seconds of blue light, to reverse the effect, but these glasses prevent that.) Add a cup of camomile tea 45 minutes before bed, and if you get the same experience as me, you'll be sleeping better now than you have done for years. These glasses were hard to discover in today's online market-place that's full of so much rubbish. I'm so glad I found them, and as you can no doubt tell - I'm delighted !

I am delighted with these glasses. I have been learning about the health benefits of blocking out blue light. I have been taking this a lot more seriously recently so was in the market for some good glasses. There are cheaper ones. There are more expensive ones. But these stood out as the best when looking into quality versus price. They are sturdy. They block blue brilliantly. They are slightly wraparound so they fit snug against the face. I am very pleased with the service as well.
