This product is an excellent eye shadow base for achieving a more intense smoky eye effect. Not only does it sit well under black eye shadow, you can also use it with different shades to change the hue of the eyeshadow you are using. I like using this with browns and greens. It can make these colors look richer and last longer. It also works well with shadows that need more pigmentation. I highly recommend trying this product.

I tested this on my hand first. It has good results BUT it does not want to come off well. When Micellar water didn’t want to touch it I got worried. I am not gonna lie. Then to think this was going on my eyeballs after I used a toothbrush and soap to scrub it off my hand. I was not messing with it again. Nope.

I bought black, and used it according to directions and after it wouldn’t come off, I looked like a raccoon. I won’t be purchasing any other colors :(

I had high hopes when I first applied this. It was very black, a little went a long way, and my loose pigments looked nice on it. However... It does not last all day. Nowhere near it. Pictured is my lids after leaving my office job, where I don't do anything more than sit at a computer in an air conditioned space for 8 hours. I only wish I had thought to take a pic of them at the start... They had the black base, iridescent purple/teal loose pigment, and black liner, when I started my day. They were shimmery and smokey and dramatic. By the end of my shift, you could hardly tell I had put eyeshadow on. I've used another brand's nude-toned eyeshadow primer for years, and it has made it so what I put on in the morning is still there by the time I wash it off for bed, and even washing it all off is hard. Like, that stuff makes things STAY. But THIS? This stuff does nothing. I even gave it a second chance, where I put this base on, then let it set for a while, thinking maybe it just needed to dry a little before I apply the rest of the makeup. But nope! Same results. This is fine if you are just doing something that needs a quick look—like maybe for a photo shoot or something—but is not great for long term wear.

I tried it and it is so greasy. Doesn't do what it's supposed to. Very upset with this purchase
