Yes you can, make sure you use the plastic pipe inserts

Yes, just turn them round. Opposite direction turn on/off of course.

What size adapter would i need to make one side non compression by replacing the olive and nut.. Thanks

You can remove the compression nut and replace it with a B.S.P. female adaptor to what you require, but you can purchase from Amazon a similar lever valve with one side compression and the other B.S.P. female thread.
