This is a fantastic product, and I don't even need to say "for the price." I'd feel good paying 2-3 times as much for this. It comes in a tiny box, and takes 5-10 minutes to assemble. Super intuitive how to do so but it does come with instructions. It's well engineered and one way you can tell that is the threading is super solid and lines up. And once you've screwed the pole together it lines up naturally so the cord comes out the back and the lampshade is pointing forward. Another way it's well engineered and manufactured is the slider that turns the lamp on and off and modulates the brightness clicks into place at the bottom and top of the range, and, amazingly, it lies flat on the floor. With a lot of these lamps the plastic control assembly on the floor weighs nothing and twists against the cord so it sits at a cock-eyed angle. This one lays completely flat so you don't have to manipulate its angle as you turn it on. The shade looks good. The metal is a bright, shiny, polished brass/gold. It looks really, really nice and functions beautifully. Comes with a nice vintage style bulb too. No wobbling of the pole at the base or along to the top, which a lot of these lamps do. So pleased with this!

This is a great lamp and looks really nice for the price. It was easy to set up and is bright. The dimmer works great as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is glue showing/dried dripping down on the lamp shade in a few spots. It is clear and you can't see it if you aren't looking up close, but it wasn't done very cleanly.

Absolutely stunning! Easy to put together and looks high quality. The dimmer works great. 10/10! My only wish is that a remote came with it, but besides that, it is worth every penny!

We just purchased a sectional so I needed to find a floor lamp that could easily be out of the way. I read reviews and decided to purchase this one. I live in a coastal area and think the rattan gives off coastal vibes. It was easy to put together and I was happy to see a light bulb was included. The lamp feels very sturdy. I've never had a lamp with a slide switch like this one has, so that did take some getting used to - I do however, like that the brightness is easily controlled. Overall, this is a great value and I am very pleasantly surprised!

Simple assembly and looks good! I built this myself within 5-10minutes. The shade material is pretty cheap but you get what you pay for. I love the ability to dim and the dimmer being on the power cord makes it easy for me to slide with my foot instead of bending down to mess with the switch. Good buy, I’d say!

This is a really nice floor lamp. Perfect gold color, more toward a vintage brushed gold than a shiney chrome gold, which is exactly what I was looking for. The base is substantial and heavily weighted to hold the lamp securely. The lampshade sounds like it would be weird (rolled up Velcro, tabs, etc), but it has a nice, quality feel to it and looks great. The bulb is an Edison type with a pleasing color temp. Dimming feature is great! No flickering or buzzing. When assembling this lamp, take your time and don't cross thread the screw together tubes. Gently keep the wires straight and taught through the fixture starting from the base and assembling upward. If I had any criticism it's that the wire doesn't go out through the base but from the lower side (see last photo). It is finished with plastic liner to protect the wires but it would have looked cleaner if it went through the base. All in all very happy with my purchase!

Upon assembling the lamp, the two bottom poles do not screw tightly into each other as it seems the female part is stripped, so the lamp leans to one side and is unstable since it's top heavy and is just hanging on by a prayer loosely sitting in the bottom pole. I tried thread tape but that did not work so I just have the poles taped around the outside where they should connect to try and keep it from falling over entirely while I await a solution that does not include me disassembling and bringing to a store to return.
