Ilios Olfactory Smell Training Kit, 4 Essential Oils, All Natural Stimulating Aromatherapy for Loss of Senses with Lemon, Clove, Rose, Eucalyptus, and Accessories

I purchased the Ilios Olfactory Smell Training Kit after my doctor recommended Smell Therapy because I have lost my sense of smell. After looking at all the options available, this kit seemed like the highest quality in this price range. The kit comes with the four essential oils (lemon, clove, rose, and eucalyptus) recommended by the doctor, plus accessories and a guide. Overall, I found it to be a well-designed and user-friendly kit. I especially like that the oils are in leak-resistant, airtight dropper bottles that should preserve their scent for months. There are dropper bottles of each scent to transfer the oils to the containers that you use during the aromatherapy sessions each day. Additional oil can be added as needed. (I count on my husband’s great-working nose to tell me when to add more scent!) The instructions are easy to follow and very straightforward. If you are in need of Smell Therapy, I highly recommend this kit.

Really helps to bring your sense of smell back.

I've been using this kit for two weeks after I lost my sense of smell from COVID-19. My sense of smell is improving, though I can't tell if it's from this therapy, natural recovery from the disease, or a combination of both. In any case, I will keep it up, as I'm confident it can't cause damage. The kit is high quality, with sturdy jars and dropper bottles. The oils are natural and strongly scented. I took one star away because the instructions in the box and on the back are contradictory. The back of the box says to rotate through all four oils in a single training session, while the instructions in the box say nothing about rotating, implying you use a single scent during a session. I'm choosing to rotate, as that seems like it would be more stimulating.

The writing / directions on these bottles/containers is microscopic. I had to take a photo of them and then enlarge the print to read them. Of course I cannot smell the scents so I am assuming they smell as marked

My husband lost some of his smell (and taste) way before Covid. It's really depressing when you can't taste food very well - he could only get sweet, sour, spicy, etc. but not the fine taste. We've tried everything to help him, including going off medications, etc. I called research hospital in Denver and they said the only thing that has been proven to help is smell training. We had dismissed doing this before but the web site abscent.org gives you very detailed instructions on what to do and how you must be dedicated to do it for at least 3 months. My husband decided to really commit to it and it is actually improving his smell so he is going to continue the process. This is NOT medical advice, just personal experience we are sharing.

I do like the kit. It seems to be high quality with good instructions. I will find out if it works in a few months ;) I am very disappointed that the vial of rose essential oil was empty and that Amazon will not allow a return because of the possible flammable materials. The whole “send the company a message” is too much trouble, so I will find another rose oil in town.

This item is great for smell training to get your smell and taste back if you loose you taste. Smell training can improve your taste.

Such a gorgeous and well thought out kit! Was truly surprised at beautifully designed and complete this kit is for the money. Purchasing each of these Aroma therapies separately would cost quite a bit more. I was assigned smell therapy by my doctor; and was starting to look at purchasing each of the components to pull the kit together and came across this truly beautiful kit. It makes the therapy fun and effective. Altogether pleased with this purchase!

Nicely presented, purchased it for someone. Early days to comment on its effectiveness, but we hope it works.

The quality is very good. Although I have only been using it a short time, I can now smell the oils that are included in the kit. Progress I guess.

Eucalyptus bottle leaking in box , oil all over hand when taken out

This is an excellent kit. Unlike the Moxé kit that I had bought in the past, this kit can be refreshed when the scents fade by adding drops from the scent bottles into the separate scent pad bottles. I highly recommend this kit.
