J.R. Watkins Menthol Camphor Ointment, 4.12 Ounce

My grandmother bought Watkins products from a lady named Pearly. She called it Pearly’s salve. Therefore, our whole family calls it that. We are distressed because we can’t find it now. It is good for whatever ails you. I taught school 42 years. All of my students called it Pearly’sSalve. I took it on all of our trips. Please make it again!!!

I bought it for my mom. She says it helps with nerve pain in her feet

We've used Menthol Camphor for decades. It has so many uses, we're still finding ways to use it. But one stays firmly at the top of the list. When we feel the tingle-pain of a fever blister about to erupt, we rub that spot almost constantly (as often as possible) with M-C and it stops the blister from erupting! It's a miracle! Every 15 minutes isn't too often. The Watkins people do NOT claim this benefit for M-C so don't fuss at them! This is something we discovered when our now adult children were in elementary school! I suppose I must say that it might not work for everyone. We're all different, after all! Try M-C for all of its benefits. Dry lips, keeping nasal passages open for a while....We love it!
