I couldn't use the low button on my old remote. At first to press really hard with two fingers, then it stopped working completely. This universal remote is an answer to my prayers. Perfect!

Opened the packaging, checked to make sure the settings matched old remote, installed batteries. It worked perfectly the first time and continues to do so.

Bought this remote a second time for our guest bedroom ceiling fan. The first one worked fine. The second one not so good. It keeps draining the 9volt battery very quickly. In the 4 months since I’d bought the product, I’ve had to replace the battery 4 times. Since it’s in a guest bedroom it is not used very often. Try to reached out to the company about this issue but was not successful. Not sure if I will buy again from this company.

Hopefully for ceiling fan extended 20 ft from floor . Do not hook up in line with dimmer switch , bizarre things could happen .

I needed to remotes one on the wall and one to put on couch to turn off fan or lights when watching TV or movies. The factory remote only worked with just that fan controller and I couldn't add anything else to it to add another remote that worked, even other Hampton bay remotes. I will be buying more of these for my other fans in my house.

Luckily it was a set of two, because one worked and one did not work.
