Mathews Bowhunting - Nintendo Wii

I love this game. It is my brand of compound bow and has several color choices. I can also change the color of my arrows. I finished this game in a couple of days while recovering from back surgery. I believed it helped me to get back on my feet, looking forward to shooting my bow and hunting again.

This purchase was a Christmas gift for my two grandsons.They are serious players and even had Gram try it. It is very much enjoyed.

This is a fun game and is arcade style of hunting. The graphics are pretty good. The game graduates from easy to hard. The harder it gets can be frustrating. You cannot move on to another area until you complete the mission, so it can be repetitive to try and complete a mission that is difficult. This is the only drawback that I see so far. It is different from shooting with a gun and it takes some getting use to using a bow, but it has been a different and fun game. It is a slow game and takes patience to play. Like hunting in the real world deer or animals take their time in appearing, the game is realistic in this. So it is not a game that can be played quickly. You may have to wait upwards anywhere to 5 to 30 minutes to get a shot at your animal to complete the mission. If you miss then you have to start over, so patience is warranted for this game. It is very realistic in how the animals respond to the calls, to each other and to being shot at. It is an interesting game in that respect. It is also a good game to play if you have the patience to play and the time. GLS
