Travelon Anti-Theft Active® Waist Pack

I bought this for my first trip to Europe. I saw videos about pick pockets and DID NOT want my passport or phone stolen. I had my entire itinerary on my phone. I wore this little pack on the front of me. It’s small, but was perfect for my use. I kept my passport and large cash in the back zippered pocket, directly against me. The main pocket held my phone, keys, credit card and small cash. There is one protective pocket for the credit card. The front small pocket had coins and a little cash. The pack has a locking mechanism to help keep the buckle from being opened. The pockets have zipper locks. Yes I often kept them locked. I was very comfortable walking around in this little pack. It’s not very big, so don’t expect to put a lot of things in it. I also carried one of their small backpacks when I had more things to carry. I had my phone on a tether and I have a clip phone protector. My phone was usually clipped to the front or front side of my pack. I only put it in the front pack pocket when I needed it to be really secure. I’m very happy with the Fanny pack. I would definitely buy another one, but I don’t think I’ll need to. Two weeks and this one still looks new.

I bought this product for my month long backpacking journey to Europe simply for the slash-proof purpose. Don’t be dumb and be aware of your surroundings, it’s not that complicated to keep away from the pickpockets. An experienced traveler is still no match for a thief with a knife to your crossbody strap. I am obviously a target as a young female “tourist,” hence why I went the extra mile. The lock feature works perfect, it’s difficult even for the user to open, so I can only imagine it would take several moments of fiddling before someone snagged something from your bag if you keep the clips are secure. Buy an extra lock if you’re super paranoid, it can’t hurt! I used it as a crossbody the majority of the time. Saw a review that said they could barely fit a travel umbrella in- I don’t find that to be true. I fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max (with a bulky PopSocket wallet/case), travel umbrella, 2 passports, euros, credit cards, gum, and vape in with no issues and it did not look like it was bursting at the seams, nor was it difficult to close. Highly recommend this product, it is worth the money and it will be coming along with me on every adventure from here on out! TLDR; This product is for you if you’re an overly cautious traveler like myself. The bag is spacious and versatile. Stay alert and clip your bag after each use and your trip will go fine. Cheers!

Very small, but able to keep maps, iphone, money, sunglasses in case, 4 passports without problems. Easy to secure the zippers to keep pickpockets at bay. Also easy to adjust the shoulder strap. Used it on a trip to Europe and worried much less about my valuables than if I had left them in the hotel room or safe. Great funcitonality just make sure you pay attention to the size. Very well made with good materials.

I loooove this fanny pack. The strap is thick and comfortable and long enough that I could wear it around my waist or sling it across my shoulder, which is usually more comfortable for me. I love the safety features and I felt very secure wearing this on my long trip to India. It easily fit my phone, chapstick, small hand sanitizer and things I wanted with me when I was out and about. Nice to have different zip compartments for different things and a pocket against the body on the outside of the main pouch as well. The only complaint I have is that the elastic that is included to "secure" the long strap was not great. For such an expensive bag, they should have had a fitted plastic piece that can slide and hold the strap in place. Besides this one oversight, I do recommend the bag.

I love this fanny pack! I had a real leather one that I owned for over 30 years, never thought I would give it up, but I was going on a 3 week Europe vacation, and felt I needed the extra protection of the anti theft, and guess what?! I love it as much and more than my proven true old leather one. I use this often, and highly recommend it. Very comfortable.

This waist pack is great. Build quality is nice and durable. Security features look like they will work well to deter theft. Comfortable and doesn't look dorky. Only issue is that there is not much room. Once passports, wallet and phone are in, there's not much more room for anything else. Height/width will fit a Kindle Paperwhite or iPad mini. My son borrowed it for a field trip and it fit his Nintendo 3DS and an iPod touch just fine. I purchased this to be slim and hide under my shirt with my important stuff only so it's great for my needs. If you're looking to hold a camera bigger than a point & shoot or a water bottle, go with a larger size.

What I loved: part around neck was padded so carrying for long periods wasn’t uncomfortable. The size was perfect. I don’t carry much and wanted as little as possible on a month long Europe vacation. It fit passport, international driver’s license, up to €200 small bills in main opening and €2000 in zippered secret pocket. Outside pockets help lipstick, small hand gel, small Kleenex, Tylenol “travel” tube, and small map folded. It also held cellphone and credit card size chsrger as well as 10’ charging cable. That was the most for me. The safety clips to make it “pick pocket proof” were awesome. We traveled in a lot of places where people were constantly pushing/shoving/ smashed up against us and I knew it was safe—especially the Anticut strap. My favorite part was the fact that it was smaller than a crossbody bag. The strap was EASILY adjustable so I often carried it higher on my chest if I’m very bad areas. What I didn’t like: honestly nothing! I bought several and all were either too big or neck strap was a real pain in the next. This will be my go-to for years to come.

This bag works as advertised. It's quite small, but can snugly fit a large-ish phone, cash, credit cards, keys, spare mask, small hand sanitizer, small powerbank, and pocket tissues. Stitching is solid and the general quality of materials is good. Good organizing pockets, albeit that the lining is quite substantial and takes up a bit of space itself (I guess it protects the interior reinforcement). The design is bland and inoffensive, with only a small unobtrusive logo to mar its otherwise respectable looks: it doesn't attract unwanted attention. I like the locking features, the built-in key/light hook (the tiny light itself is a cheap gimmick, but it does the job). I also like that only the interior card pockets are shielded from scanners. That means I can keep a keycard and transit card in the outer pocket and I don't need to take them out to scan them, but credit cards inside stay safe.

What a great, functional and quality waistpack. Wanted something secure and this seems to fit the bill with plenty of security features and importantly not being too big (big enough to fit large phone and other valuables however).
