Scat Pet Shock Mat for Dog & Cat: 3 Training Modes 60x12 Inches

I have gone through every type of couch cover you can think of. Blanket covers - pulled off after 5 minutes even with tucking them in; individual couch cushion covers - dogs shredded them getting them off. Everything I tried was a huge pain to put on and take off. I was at my wits end trying to protect my couch from my two 65 pound dogs. They would cover my brand new couch in mud, dead grass, fur, and anything they would find in the yard; it was embarrassing and I was deep cleaning my couch every other day. These mats work so well and they’re so easy to move if you need to sit or to put back in place before you leave. I have had them for about 8+ months now and I will keep them until they die and then buy a new set. I never write reviews about products whether good or bad, but I highly recommend these mats if you’ve tried everything else and don’t know where else to go.

I got this mat to stop my pet from jumping onto places it shouldn’t, and honestly, it does help. It doesn’t hurt, but the shock is uncomfortable enough for them to learn quickly and avoid the area. It’s easy to set up and doesn’t get in the way. It’s not a miracle solution, but if you use it consistently, it does the job.

Initially, I was extremely satisfied with their deterrence but, I realized today, March 13, that one of them has completely stopped working already! These were too expensive to only last less than 1.5 months. Of course, it stopped working soon after my Amazon return window closed. I am ultra dissatisfied with this product and wish I could give it zero stars! DO NOT BUY!

Was really excited to get this. It doesn’t work at all. Have a cat that has decided my home office is her place and started marking in here and making it smell like pee. Bought this to train her not to come in, but doesn’t work at all. Carefully read the instructions. Trimmed her claws to make sure they weren’t too long. Her paws aren’t furry. Pushed the button on the mat and let it calibrate for the full minute. Short pushed the button till the green lights on both static and tone were blinking green every five seconds. What the manual says means it is working. Thought it was maybe that the mat was new and still a bit misshapen, so turned it off and laid it out all night with some items on top to flatten it out. Next morning did the same routine. Push button and let it calibrate for one minute. Change to static and tone and made sure green lights beeping every 5 seconds. Put some food in my office so she’d follow me in. She stepped RIGHT on the mat. Just stood there too. Long enough for me to think “wow this doesn’t work at all”, and then even longer to where I thought “I should take a picture of this”. Stood on it for a good 30 seconds and nothing. I thought still maybe her feet were too furry since the instructions mentioned it so put my hand directly in the middle and pushed down. Held for a good 30 seconds and nothing as well. Battery is fresh out of the pack and fully seated. Followed all instructions (including battery pack facing up). Doesn’t work. At all.

The pad is very effective at training our two cats to stay out of areas and off of counters. My only complaint: we are constantly replacing 9V batteries. I have since purchased rechargeable versions and highly recommend the rechargeable version over the 9V battery version. I only use the pads overnight. The batteries will last anywhere from 1-2 weeks before the controller starts beeping that the battery needs replaced. For the rechargeable version, I have left them on all day/night for the last two weeks and they still have 75% charge left. Note - after I left this review, Seerway reached out to me and provided 5 new RECHARGEABLE versions of the mats at NO CHARGE. It was a very generous way to resolve the situation and I appreciated it!

The item works but it's not really worth it because the batteries drain to quickly. In a week I've had to change it 2 times already. I wish they had rechargeable ones because that would be a game changer.

Bought 2 of these to protect my new sofa from my 3 dogs. Works perfect!!

Some cat keeps scratching a spot dead center of my windshield. It’s very annoying. Washes off but still annoying. I put this scat mat ancross my hood so it spills a little over the wiper blades area and at about 6 or 7 days no more scratches. Added extra magnets at both ends so wind won’t blow it off. Set something on your dash to remind you not to drive off with it in place. Touched it just to know how strong it was, feels like a slight vibration. Very low voltage. Won’t hurt the cat. Anyway well worth the price and definitely recommended. Will probably get the rechargeable one as well. Here kitty kitty, lol.

This product definitely works. Hands-down five star I believe in it because it only has to zap the pet once maybe twice if you have a really brave pet. I’m not kidding no joke once, and the second time he tried wasn’t a good situation. He knocked over a couple things so that in itself scared him it does take and require a 9 V battery and I’ve had no issues with it. I even zapped myself by mistake once so be careful because it will zap you very quickly and it gave me a little bit of sense of what my cat felt. So yeah get it. Buy it if you’re having trouble with the pet on a table or a counter that you don’t want them up on do it 👍🏽 up five ⭐️ On the little bit of a downside is that he did have anxiety when it first happened so for a few days, you know he took that anxious little pose that cats do all crouched up paws underneath themselves just kind of looking afraid and you know they’re anxious, but it only lasted for a few days and now he doesn’t go up there anymore. Good value its a durable plastic and the size is nice and long for tables or counters.

Desde la primera vez que mi gato lo miró lo salto, en un descuido que si llego a pisar realmente no le paso nada porque el tapete tardo en reaccionar y eso mi gato lo entendió muy bien, así que hace lo que quiere de forma rápida para irse sin problema. Otro detalle importante es que no cuenta con un botón de encendido y apagado, así que para apagarlo es necesario remover la pila y se debe de hacer con cuidado para no jalar los cables.

My dog kept getting on my new couch and eat the pillows chew the arms , we literally had to pile items on couch when not in use to keep her off and that didn’t always work.since I put the mattress on my couch dog sniffed it ,it beeped and he hasn’t even gotten near the couch since then I tried everything and this is the best thing ever to keep your pets off of your furniture,highly recommended,I love it!!!

Purchased in September and by November has stopped working right. We usually only put the mat on the counter at night ( when our cat likes to go take a counter tour). It has now started going off on its own and not stopping in the middle of the night. Changed the battery twice and it is still randomly going off. Not a fun way to wake up in the middle of the night. So not impressed. The Matt idea is great. This brand is not. Do not buy this one. Waste of your money.
