Himal Outdoors Dog Backpack & Saddle Bag, Tactical Hiking Backpack Brown

I ordered the large for my 80 pound Lab/Husky and the fit is just right. The fit can be adjusted at the neck and belly to make it larger or smaller, but it was just right for us right out of the package. It attaches both by Velcro and buckle at the neck and belly. It's a little difficult to get ON my dog, he has a severe case of the "just absolutely cannot sit stills", so it takes several minutes for us to get it on him, but once it's on it's super helpful. The pockets on both sides are spacious, we walk at night so I can make him hold the flashlight, my phone, some poop bags, some treats, a collapsible water bowl, and there's still plenty of room for more stuff. It seems like it's made well, we have only used it a few times as it's getting to be very hot outside so I don't want to make him exert more energy and be hotter, but it still looks brand new all over. We'll use it a lot more in the winter. I like it, I do recommend it!

LOVE this pack! We use it every day. Great compartments and adjustable for your pooch. She looks so official with it and she carries her own poop til we can dispose of it!

I just received it and can't say anything yet about its longevity. But it looks like it is well made. The color stated as being black however is not black, rather a slate grey. You can see the difference between the pitch black fur of my dog and the backpack. I don't mind it. It still looks nice. The zippers seem sturdy, the velcro as well. The size of the side pockets are good. You can easily fit 2 medium water bottles in each one of them. It was easy to put on my dog and seems to be comfortable to him. He didn't complain. I actually had the feeling he liked having a purpose, carrying both our water bottles 😃. The only thing I would wish for is if it could be an "easy walker harness" at the same time where you could click your leash onto the chest. I am having to have him wear that one as well, unfortunately.

These are so nice. Fits perfectly. Great price. Extremely sturdy. I love the color. So much more control and comfort for the dog. Works great.

Amazing! My sylvie loves it lol its very convenient and helps us carry her essentials on a long walk. Even weights when she needed them for a short periods for practice to slow down . Perfect backpack.

I have a 48-lb mixed breed with a wide-ish chest, so I was hoping this would fit, and it just makes it when the belly straps are at the tightest they'll go. The front strap fits well and the adjustability of the design is excellent. It's easy to put on and my dog doesn't mind wearing the pack at all (it's worth noting that she generally doesn't mind wearing things, which isn't the case for all dogs!). The pack stayed in place well on a long walk even though it wasn't tight. I didn't put much in it for our first adventure and we were mostly on flat ground, but it seems very sturdy and could hold a good amount more if the dog doesn't mind. I plan to use it primarily to carry bottles of water and her collapsible bowl, though I'm hesitant to put it on her in the summer heat since I don't want it to make her too hot. The pack seems well-made, good fabric and hardware that should last. Very happy!

Fits my 80lbs Belgian Malinois really well. Love the color. Pockets seem like they’ll fit a couple of bottles of water on each side. Nicely made.

Works great for a weekend on the A.T. my dog was comfortable. He wasn't bothered by it and it left no rashes. Very adjustable for dogs larger than him but not good for dogs much smaller. He carried food for 3 days in his pack.
