Omnigrip 3-1/2" Square Ruler, Clear Quilting and Sewing Ruler

I absolutely love this Omnigrip square ruler, though I must confess, I don't use it for its intended purpose of quilting! For anyone looking for a reliable, perfectly gridded surface to serve as a background for scale and context in product photography, this is an absolute must-buy. I place the ruler flat in my light box setups, and it instantly provides a clean, professional ruler display right under the item I'm photographing. The 1/2-inch measurements and cross-lines provide excellent, immediate scale for small products, giving every photo an elevated, clear, and informative edge. Compared to other ruler brands I've tried, Omnigrid is, in my opinion, clearly superior. The primary reason is the exceptional ease of reading the markings. The lines are crisp, dark, and the numbers are highly visible, which is crucial when photographing it under studio lighting. I have several different sizes of these rulers and use them consistently across various light box dimensions. The non-slip backing also ensures that once it's placed in the box, it stays perfectly flat and won't shift while I adjust the items on top of it. Nice product, would not use for high tolerance work like… let’s say ‘aviation’ parts design. I received the quality I was expecting for it’s ease of use in a ‘FREEHAND’ drafting setting. Not the fine CNC work I have programmed to the 1000th of an inch or finer.👍

You're so worse and quilters will know how frustrated is to have a ruler that's not long enough you have to keep moving the ruler from one side to the other to cut a long strip . The only problem was when I decided to get one everybody else had the same idea they're sold out everywhere Amazon's the only one that has them and they were perfectly they were a little bit pricey but not bad. Perfect for what I needed the size is great you can see through it accurate long strip cuts finally. Yes it is very easy to use and accurate

I have found that this is a useful size to have for cutting fabric for patchwork quilting, and for squaring up larger blocks. I have several Omni Grid rulers in various sizes and the markings are easy to read.

Quality is what I expect from Omnigrip. I wish they had the 1/4' seam allowance on the 4 sides instead of adding 1/2' on 2 sides since I got the ruler for fussy cutting. They have done this for years so I should be used to it.

Love this for a tee shirt quilt I’m making. It helps center everything with the ample lines on it!

I especiallylike the edge grabber it holde the ruller straight and snug for cutting fabric. Numeber and marks easy to read. Makes cutting fabric simple if my blade is sharp lol

I use this ruler the most because my cotton mat is 36 inches.

This Omnigrid ruler is perfect for me as I use this size for a lot of my quilts and other projects.
