Solid product with great user guides available online
This is a great product! I had been a year's long user of the SignaLink USB and enjoyed it. Looking to modernize my shack, I incorporated the DigiRig into my Amateur Radio Go Box. So far, I have interfaced this with my Kenwood TM-V71A for use with traditional 1200 baud packet and it has worked very well. To install the DigiRig on a flavor of Ubuntu Linux (I am in no way a power Linux user) took me about two hours following various online guides, of which there are several high-quality ones available, and reading the DigiRig forum. Said forum is a wealth of support and one of the reasons to purchase this product. For me, this was great value for money. If there were one thing that I could say, for those of us with limited soldering skills it would be great if DigiRig would offer the versions pre-configured for CAT control via RS-232 or compatible for Icom CI-V via Amazon.com and not just directly on their website. Can 100% recommend this product to fellow hams interested in a clean, convenient, digital modes installation.

Digirig Digirig works great
I needed a way to connect my hp laptop to my Yaesu FT-818 transceiver so that I could do digital radio. I purchased a Digirig unit along with a cable to connect it to my FT-818. I connected it all altogether and after some software setup it worked just fine. I am using it with WSJT-X and Fldigi. They both work well with Digirig. I also purchased the cable to connect it to a BAOFENG 5RX handheld radio. That also worked but the FT-818 is a much better radio so I normally use it. The main problem with the BAOFENG is that the receiver seems to get overloaded if connected to good outdoor antenna and does not receive well. Digirig also provides an output to program the radio and a cable is provided to do this. This also worked and provides a additional useful function. I highly recommend Digirig as a digital interface between a computer and a radio. It is a very nice and easy way to do digital radio using a very small well-designed unit.

Excellent digital mode interface in a tiny package
This little audio interface is incredible. When Amazon shipped it to me, it came in a flat envelope and I thought there was a packing mistake. I figured that the interface would be about the size of my hand and I didn't even see it when I opened the package. Wait, that tiny little cardboard box down there? Yes, it's that small! About the size of a 9V battery. And it's awesome. I hooked it up to Graywolf, the APRS software modem that I've been working on, and immediately got packets.

Great little multiuse device
Been using this for about a year now , it works as advertised. I use it for programing my multiple uv5rs and my 8 pro. Use it also as a sound card for aprs and winlink without issue .

No support for this item with Digirig. Cannot connect to Win 11 Audio. Ordered a replacement.
Zero customer support unless you like to red over pages and pages and videos upon videos. I cannot get this connected to my WIN 11 ASUS laptop. It does not show up correctly in the Sound section of devices properly. UPDATE: They have reached out to me via email. I just have not had time to get back into the setup again as I find it so draining.

The best USB audio interface for amateur radio use.
The best and most flexible USB audio interface for amateur radio. No proprietary software or drivers required, just plug and play on the majority of operating systems, and cables available for the majority of modern radios - and for even more if you're willing to build your own. It's size, as well as not needing an external power supply, makes it suitable for sota and pota as well as mobile use. It is also compatible with the majority of current amateur radio software including VARA, HRD, and even some much older ones.

Great product for older radios that don't have a built in sound card. Easy setup and works great with lots of online support. Be sure to buy the cables that match your radio.

Small and Comprehensive Rig interface solution
This is an incredibly neat solution to getting 'older' radios connected to the PC. It provides both Rig Control and Audio interfaces. By default it's configured for 3.3v logic level for the rig control, but can be re-wired for RS232 levels. Supports most radios I can think of. You will need to use a soldering iron to reconfigure some of the options but the website is very supportive and videos exist of how to do this, and besides, if you're buying this you should know how to use a soldering iron. I made my own cables (For Icom IC-7000) and it all just worked as it was supposed to. Use it mostly with WSJT-X. Uses CP210 drivers which all the modern radios use by default anyway so no compatibility issues. Tim G6GEI
