I got this Camrola Auto Face Tracking Phone Holder as a birthday gift, and it ended up being one of the best gifts ever. It tracks your face and body smoothly without needing any app, which made setup super easy. I used it right away for recording videos and it follows movement pretty well when I’m talking or walking around. The 360° rotation helps a lot when I switch angles during filming. The battery lasts long enough for a full recording session, and it recharges without any hassle. It also feels stable on a table or tripod, so my phone doesn’t wobble while it’s tracking. If you do vlogs, live streaming, or even just like recording family moments, this makes things a lot easier. I didn’t expect to use it as much as I do, but it has become part of how I film now.

So I purchased this as a stocking stuffer for my wife because she is always FaceTiming her family when she cooks. I noticed her taking her phone everywhere, setting it down in random spots to see them and for them to see her. When came across this I figured for $15 it’s probably a little gimmicky and she might appreciate the thought behind it… HOWEVER…. She uses this thing ALL THE TIME. She sets it up on the island with her phone, and goes to town without having to troubler herself trying to find the next spot to stand the phone up. She bragged about this holder so much that I bought once for my mom and her mom! It’s easy to charge, very stable, and for an unbeatable price. We definitely got our moneys worth out of this!

EDIT: I took it to the gym today and it was kind of funny how it was bouncing back forth not knowing who to video.. it even video taped random people in the background walking around lol. If you’re a serious vlogger or something along those lines, probably get something a little more expensive and sophisticated. For me, this is fine. I still like it, it’s not PERFECT, hopefully the next generation they will make some improvements. I wish I could upload the footage I took at the gym today but Amazon only allows me to upload one. RIP 1) Maybe a button you can click for it to capture the “objects” you want it to focus on 2) Needs a button to tell you how much battery is left. Please watch my video you will die. I love this concept. Love the clasp that holds the iPhone, it’s nice and sturdy, unlike the other tripods I have used in the past. I LOVE that you can screw this onto a large, standing tripod. GENIUS! First thing I noticed is how loud the motor is when it turns… you can clearly hear it when you play back the video- so if you are using this for vlogging, it may not be the best… It also doesn’t turn the fastest. If you are regularly walking close by it will not be able to keep up. Lastly, I’m not sure how it will know to focus on me- and not some random person in the background so I’ll have to come back and update you

I was excited about this device being a content creator who works solo. No longer being constrained to lock shots and being able to do tracking shots while I speak will take my production quality way up. Unfortunately, this device falls short of what I need. I'm sure it will work fine for many people. However my productions require a little bit more than this product has to offer. First off, the face tracking is just okay. It works. Mostly. If you step too far away from the camera it can lose track of you, and doesn't even detect you beyond about 15 feet from the camera. Secondly, the tracking seems to be lagging a little bit. Rather than keeping the subject directly in the center of the frame, they appear slightly left or right of center depending on which direction they are moving. If the devices mounting hardware allowed me to adjust the cameras horizontal position, I could compensate for this by turning the camera slightly one way or the other. It would also give me the option to put the subject in thirds of the frame. However the mount is locked to vertical range of motion, and the hardware is non- standard 1/4-in action cam mounting. Y axis adjustment would be very much welcomed. As it tracks you while you move, its movements can be somewhat jerky. I would like to see a soft start, soft stop option for panning shots. Finally to nitpick. The mounting bracket for the smartphone itself. Whoever invented these clamp style mounts should be fired. I use an Android pixel 8 pro, + because of the design of the mount, I have to remove the camera from its case in order to put it in the included Mount. I have my phone in a case for a reason - to protect it. Walking away from My phone while it's uncased on a small tripod, well, let's just say a strong wind can topple it over. Voice of experience speaking here. The mount should be able to accommodate wider phones. Also address the fact that the pixels power and volume rocker buttons are almost in the center of the phone. This clamp, like so many others does not take this into account, and will depress the buttons when the phone is in the mount. Super annoying. Not everyone uses an iPhone. Again, the reviews here seem to be overwhelmingly positive, and many people find that it meets their needs. You're however, if you're in advanced videographer, you may want to explore other options.

This has been my one of the best purchase. I use it daily, I keep it on one of my desk and use for my content creation and phone calls ... Oh my God .. such a life savor as I connect my phone to it and keep working,dance vedio ,call over the phone with voice call or for vedio call 🤙 and it recognizes my face and turn wherever I go... Almost it rotates 360° which is amazing. The quality is good for the price I paid. It versatile among other devices with me..
