I love the two in one pan cast iron Dutch Oven. I use the bottom part for outdoor frying on an induction stove top plate. I like that it keeps the mess and odor outside. My wife used the top part for making cornbread. The cast iron comes seasoned. It could use further seasoning but it does work right out of the box. I appreciate the durability of cast iron. Although it’s on the inexpensive side it has a nice fit and finish. It’s perfect for frying for up to 4 people.

First time owning a cast iron pan and I love how it sears steaks. It gets extremely hot and gives a great crust. Just make sure to leave the windows open and turn the fan on when cooking. It can rust pretty easily if you’re not careful, so dry it quickly and take care of the seasoning. For the price, it’s an excellent value for a Dutch oven and skillet combo.

If you’re worried about this not being Lodge or Griswold, don’t be. It’s a perfect size, you can use the lid for cooking as well. It’s true that not all cast iron is made equally, and this quality is great. I have MANY cast iron pieces of all brands and some don’t get used as much due to quality. This one gets used a ton and is a regular in my rotation. I use it over fire outside more than other applications but it works for everything. It’s perfect.

I love this Dutch Oven. I have used it on the stovetop for various stews and other dishes. I've used it in the over to bake bread in. It is cast iron so it is hefty, but it will last me my lifetime. Can't say that for too many products today. I would recommend.

Sturdy durch oven. It will rust pretty quickly if you don't make sure it's absolutely bone dry after cleaning. Mine has some odd watermark stains after using it for 5 months… maybe it's part of the seasoning process? I have not used the frying pan lid except as a lid. The little red handle grabbers seemed like a nice touch but I don't use them so they just sit in a drawer.

This is the best seasoned Cast Iron I ever got. Bought for my daughter for Mothers day. I think she has used it every single day since. She cooks supper every night. She loves being able to cook with both pieces. She loves everything about it. Well made, easy to clean, looks nice, perfect size on both pieces. The food taste good, and its built to last.

I bought this pot specifically for cooking food on the grill, and it did not disappoint! My food didn’t stick at all, and the pot held up beautifully against the high heat and open flame. It didn’t scorch, burn, or warp. I was able to fry 5 lbs of catfish in this pot on the grill. Not all at once though. This was definitely an essential purchase for grilling, and I’m very happy with it. I highly recommend it!

Well, I had seen a review where a person had some corrosion on their nearly new edge casting pan so I expected that the seasoning would not be up to Lodge standards. It does not seem to be so. But cast iron enthusiasts know that some people should not have cast iron. So I immediately did something you should not do with cast iron myself. So I guess I should not have cast iron. The first thing I decided to cook was Birria tacos and the recipe called for a dutch oven. This was the only dutch oven I own and I love me some Birria. Birria has acid. Specifically tomatoes and vinegar. I know that this will give any seasoning a problem, and although I rubbed this one down with oil when I got it I did not heat it to season it myself. I decided to risk it. And the factory seasoning survived in perfect shape. See the pictures. One is the lid the other the pan. It was not completely non-stick but I did not need to use anything stronger than water and a rag to clean it. I seasoned it, and put it away gleaming black. It is the right size for sourdough bread, and 5 pounds of chuck cooked to birria. 20-25 dollars less money and this kind of performance I made a good decision. The difference in price paid for my family's dinner tonight.

a rock solid, great value cast iron combo that does both skillet & dutch oven. I love the versatility of this. I seasoned once before using and it was an excellent performer. abide by the cast iron rules and you will love cooking steak, sausages, bacon with this. highly recommended
