Start Stop Button, OE 2215450714 33161207, Keyless Go Button Ignition Switch for A B C CL CLK CLS E S SL SLC SLK SLR GLA GLC Class CL550 ML350 GLK350 E350 S550

Had to get a replacement after putting the original somewhere "safe" and then not being able to find it when I came to sell the car. I was rather sceptical about buying an aftermarket item like this for my GLA, however it worked perfectly and certainly to my untrained eye there was no difference between it and the original.

When installed it tells me to remove button and insert key fob to start car

Ok, for the price , plastic looking…it works but got stuck in push position once and drained my battery…

Clicked into place and worked straight away, just for info though , your car has to be setup for stop/start, this is literally a plastic push button and nothing inside it. For all the people thinking about buying this , check on YouTube first how to tell if your car is setup for stop start. It’s a simple check , you should be able to put you finger in the hole where the key goes and start your car with your finger. Trust me check YouTube, if you can’t then don’t buy this button as it won’t work .

My one I bought doesn’t fit my C class250 64plate. I not sure how to get in contact with the seller

In appearance this stop/start button is identical to the original, sits at exactly the right angle when installed and operates the same as the original also. As the stop start button has to be removed for certain service operations, eg. parking the windscreen wipers up on the screen for maintenance, there's always a chance of mislaying it. If that happens this replacement button will work fine in its place. Please note however if your vehicle is not equipped with Keyless-Go simply adding this Stop/Start button will not add it. Keyless-Go requires extra modules to be fitted and enabled to function.

Very simple to use. Simply place it into the key ignition slot and it becomes a button. Circle easy button and to press.

Contrairement à ce qui est dit et noté, ce bouton ne fonctionne que dans certains cas, et encore, mais dans le mien pour une MERCEDES EQV300 cela ne fonctionne absolument pas ! Un achat inutile mais heureusement pas trop onéreux.
