Lightweight, heats up fast, and works like a charm โ best value iron Iโve had in the UK
This is the second iron Iโve bought since moving to the UK, and Iโm genuinely happy with it. My previous one was a budget option from another brand (maybe Brelil or something like that?) and it was just terrible โ barely ironed anything, took forever to heat up, and felt bulky and awkward in the hand. In contrast, this Philips model is lightweight, compact, and heats up quickly. It glides effortlessly over clothes and delivers great steam, even on a basic setting. It also doesnโt take too long to cool down, which I appreciate. Despite being one of Philipsโ simpler models, it performs far beyond my expectations. I got it with a discount, and it cost about the same as my previous iron โ but the difference in quality is day and night. The ceramic soleplate hasnโt stuck to anything, even synthetic fabrics, and Iโve been using it with scented ironing water with no issues. The design is sleek and minimal, which I prefer over flashy colours. All in all, Iโm genuinely pleased every time I use it. It simply does its job โ and does it well. Highly recommend if you want a reliable, no-fuss iron at a good price.

Light and small water tank, but iron's.
A few things to not, the cable is really short, my previous one was at least 0.5m longer, wish I had checked. The water tank is way too small and empties rather quickly. The iron itself is actually really light, don't know if its a good thing or bad. Our previous iron was continuously getting scorched, now I donโt know if that was getting too hot because sometimes I feel like this doesn't get hot enough, I am convinced its the former. Well, in summary, its irons really well, need to continuously fill for large pile of ironing, but its really easy to iron with as its light. Only other minor criticism would be that my hand sometimes catches on the dial, but thatโs a minor really. Please consider these points when buying.

Irons well but limescale prevention function doesn't really work
It irons well, but has a lot of limescale built-up, even though it is supposed to have a limescale prevention function. I don't think I've done something wrong.

Iron
Perfect, I love this Iron for its ironing pleasure, appearance, steam output, size and stickiness. This is now my second one and it last for a very long time. Many thanks.

Handy
Got very confused when I first purchased and saw water marks inside the tank- felt silly thinking it was second hand after googling and seeing itโs due to testing before posting out which completely makes sense now. The iron itself is great; I found on items that need low heat that the low heat itself isnโt strong enough to get stubborn crinkles out so have set it higher than tags recommend which is crazy to me as my last iron just completely melted through my clothes on low settings so this was a weird change for me. I feel like it also runs out of solution very quickly but other than that it is a handy iron Iโm very happy with it.
