Hunter Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light and pull chain control - Donegan 60 inch, Onyx Bengal, 54170

For the most part, this fan is really pretty and quiet. The barn-wood look of the blades is really cool and matches my flooring perfectly. I would have given this 5 stars except for the design flaw in the globe. It comes with an "amber" glass bowl globe, however, it's not translucent. It's a dark amber color with a metal trim, but, the underside has some sort of a white finish that prevents light from filtering through, so, it acts more like a night-light with a dim shade and uplighting. If you don't need something with a bright light, you'll probably love this.

We've had this fan for a few months now. Overall I'm really happy with it. We put it in a living room with large vaulted ceilings. The fan has no problem cooling down the room and moving a lot of air. It's quiet and looks really nice. People always comment on it when they come in the room. It looks much better in a larger living room than a standard 52" fan.The only thing I don't like about the fan is the lighting. It is adjustable, but the globe is heavily frosted and the bulbs are pretty dim. The biggest problem I have with it is there is no cover on the top of the globe. We have it on a 5' downrod. What happens is it projects the light up onto the ceiling. As a result, when the blades are spinning, it creates this strobing shadow on the ceiling and higher up on the walls. It makes the light pretty much unusable when the fan is on. If the fan is off, then it's fine. If the fan is mounted close to the ceiling, you probably won't have this issue. The problem is annoying, but I'd still definitely buy this fan again.

It looks brilliant in the room albeit doesn’t move seemingly more air than my smaller Hunter Anslee.The install took me about 3 hours, struggling with the grommets and dropping screws from atop a ladder.All in all I am happy with my Hunter fans (6 in total). One of the other five came with a poorly wired lighting kit that would trigger my GFI, br Amazon’s amazing customer support took care of that for me.

These fans are awesome! Produce enough air to blow papers on the floor. I had to get a brighter light bulb then the one provided because they are too dim to provide lighting. Color is awesome and rustic.

Very nice looking fan that provides plenty of quiet air. The instructions were easy to follow. This was my first ceiling fan installation and I had no issues. The light globe is very nice and it puts off a good amount of soft light. The lights are LEDs. I'm impressed with how smooth this fan runs.

Nice Fan. Easy to install, but I've put up a few before. My complaints are that the chain for the fan speed does not work through the pull-through hole in the light. As such, I cannot adjust fan speed without removing the lamp. Also, the lamp sits cock-eyed. But it functions as a fan, and a light (I have 2 switch set up on the wall, one for each).

Very impressed at the power and the little noise level with this particular fan. It really makes a huge difference in my daughter's room which has very high ceiling, so this has been the perfect ceiling fan for her room.
