LifeStraw Go Water Bottle with Filter; 22oz; Clear

I have just come back from travelling around Cambodia and Vietnam for 2 months and used this for my entire journey. I DID NOT GET ILL. Not once. I filled this up from the tap nearly everywhere I visited (I only didn't when the water from the tap had pieces of something in it - and the main reason for this was to not stain the filter). It was really easy to use and I saved A LOT of money on bottled water. When each bottle is $1-2 and you have to buy up to 3 a day, this is a real money saver when travelling for any period of time. The cost of this was less than the bottles of water my friend bought over 2 weeks travel. The other positive of this is that there are very few recycling facilities available where I was travelling, so this is also very environmentally friendly as I was not using the volumes of plastic that everyone else was. I would definitely recommend buying this if you are thinking of going to any country where the tap water is not safe to drink.

This water bottle is a phenomenal idea if it had of been durable. I was using mine and absolutely loved it, as I was travelling through countries where drinking straight from the tap was unsafe. However, it broke about four weeks in. It now leaks and the suction doesn't work the same.

This is a great product, and I'm looking at getting us all one. It looks great, is no heavier than a standard water bottle, and costs about the same as a premium bottle that has no filtration. Many kids who went camping with her were impressed and have now got them for their next trip.

Heya. On Amazon. That water bottle you got me for Xmas can you send them a complaint message. Hey. I got this lifestraw bottle for my daughter for Xmas as she had been really wanting one. She has had it 2 months and it leaks quite a lot. When she takes it on a hike her bag is wet through. Sure this isn’t normal, especially as it’s not a cheap water bottle. She’s getting to the point I’m gonna have to take a separate bottle and have this one empty and only use it when needed. Which is counter productive. 🧐 she loves the bottle and the idea but I do think it shouldn’t be leaking after 2 months and only a couple of uses.

It served its purpose of purifying the water.

I really like this bottle and I think it saved me a lot travelling in third world countries when I had no access to bottled water but I had come back with a stomach infection due to contamination from water and I assume it may be from the bottle or the filter but I will never know. Hence why I’m rating it only 3 stars. But I really hope it wasn’t from the bottle because I really like it and I seemed to be okay at first and it has definitely saved me. I also changed the filter so I should have been fine but I don’t know.

We used this bottle when travelling around Asia for two months as we didn't want to be using plastic bottles all the time. We were filling it up from taps where we wouldn't normally drink from and it was great, we escaped Bali/Viet/Malay/Thai Belly free. Definitely worth a purchase.

Usé está botella por aprox 1 año o más y me encanta, lo mejor que puedes tener al viajar, tomé agua siempre en muchos lugares y nunca me enfermé ni me pasó nadaaa! El único detalle es que a veces se le salía el agua de la boquilla, así que regularmente tenía que llevarla en posición parada

Excellent product. Although the delivered bottle contains some scratches on it's body but the filter is absolutely marvellous. The filter contains two chambers and top chamber contains activated carbon capsule. I hope this will last at least 1000 refills if not 1000 litres. The carbon capsule is detachable which is supposed to run for 100 litres.

Thirsty? In a third world country? Don't want to depend on bottled water? just fill it up at any tap and you're sweet. Buy and extra carbon filter for crap tasting well or municipal water sources.

La estuvimos utilizando durante nuestro viaje a Sri-Lanka y nos gustó mucho. Pudimos beber del agua del grifo tranquilamente. Al principio es una sensación diferente el tener que absorver para beber, pero te acostumbras rápidamente. La recomiendo 100%
