I saw that the dimension is 62.5 Have anyone experienced international trips with this suitcase? Especially to Asian. Did you have to pay extra fee?

The bag failed at Delta check-in. $200.00 up charge to go to Japan from USA. This bag is too big for checked baggage without a fee. Really disappointing as the wheels are what push it over the edge into “oversized” Waste of money as I can’t use it without being prepared to pay extra. Can’t believe they advertise as being “checked baggage “ without clarifying you have to pay extra.

Would you recommend this set, has it held up well to general airline abuse?

I have had this set of spinners for 2 1/2 years, in its time it has been to over 30 countries, hundreds of flights, living out of these suitcases for approx 3-4 months a year and the 20” carry on handle just broke the other day after a 3 week trip. - It’s the bag I use the most frequently and I’d say that is one hell of a run. I’m back here to buy another 20” spinner to replace mine because its track record with me personally speaks for itself. I will say that I hope the handle on this spinner is more ridged - Just my two cents on a topic I know better than most anyone.

how much does each case weigh when empty?

Product description lists 28” at 11.68lbs, not 10.35lbs.

What is the difference between 20 and One Size selection?

It means that for the 20 inch case shown on this page there is only one size. Other sizes of this case are shown on different pages. I agree that it is confusing.

Top quality at great value

I had my previous Samsonite for about 15 years before one of the airlines trashed it, was so happy with quality and durability that I wanted another Samsonite. Although a somewhat boring black colour, this is excellent quality and at a great price point. Very happy with this replacement for an old favourite

10 years warranty, but no spare parts!

I travelled with the bag once and one of the wheel broke during transit. Samsonite does not have any wheel replacement anywhere - UK/EU/USA. I bought the bag in Dec 2019. Used it in Jan 2020 and broke and I still don't have an answer from Samsonite other than running around in circles without a solution. How can Samosnite warranty a bag for 10 years when they do not have a simple wheel replacement? I called the UK/EU/USA samsonite centre and they are not able to help. Poor service.
