Extra Strength Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate

These are surprisingly tasty, I take them with my kid and we both actually enjoy them. It almost feels like a treat rather than a supplement. They’re also very gentle on the stomach, no discomfort after taking them. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the price is really reasonable. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.

I've been a Jarrow customer about a decade. This is a superior product! I have the MTHFR gene (confirmed via blood test), which means I cannot absorb B12 as cyanocobalamin (which is synthetic, FYI) nor folic acid. I CAN absorb methylcobalamin and methylfolate. I was getting peripheral neuropathy (I'm not diabetic), so I had my vitamin B12 levels tested via blood, and they were at the lowest end of the normal range. I ordered this item, take one per day, and I've had 50% improvement of symptoms in 1 month. My labs have not been repeated yet due to insurance issues, but this is not a placebo effect. Previously, I was tripping more and stubbing my toes more, to the point I had to take stairs one at a time while looking at the stairs and holding the railing (which didn't allow me to carry much, so lots of time wasted with multiple trips up and down) because I couldn't "feel" the ground through my shoes; yet when I stubbed my toes it hurt like heck. My life has improved so much in 1 month. I will continue to take it until my insurance will pay for follow up labs or, if I'm lucky, I can reverse the neuropathy completely.

I have to take this as my body doesn't absorb normal folate and after 43 years of stomach issues and severe fatigue my doctors figured that out and that I need vitamin B12 due to not getting it naturally. These seem to be doing the trick well, over the last 3 months I have seen many positive changes due to this pill. They taste good while you chew them, almost like lemonade. I take one a day before bed and am good to go. You can't beat the price, especially for the dose and quantity.

I like to use this brand because I need methylated vitamins due to having the MTHFR gene mutation. This brand tastes great and is in an easy to chew formula. I feel great when I stay consistent with my routine while taking these.

Have been consuming this for a few months now. I take it empty stomach in the morning and find that since taking it, I have been feeling much better. I have not yet taken a blood test to see if my Ferrous level have increased but hair fall has definitely reduced .

Love the taste and easy to use

I was recently diagnosed with the MTHFR gene mutation that has caused me some minor medical issues. My dermatologist recommended I find a methyl folate supplement to ease my symptoms. I tried several until I found this Jarrow formula methyl folate. It is an easy to chew tablet and I believe it metabolizes quite well for me. I usually take only one a day but if I have consumed enriched wheat, I usually have to take two.
